Great place to have lunch by the sea! Good selection of drinks too and well placed to walk along the beach afterwards.

The big guy at the bar over charged us by £18. When we asked him about it, he wasn’t apologetic or surprised at all! It felt like we were an inconvenience to have brought it up. When he refunded us, he moved us on as quickly as he could and waved his hand in a dismissing motion to shoo us off and said “off you go”.The fish and chips was nice though.

Fantastic location, right on the beach. When we arrived, there was uncomfortably load music playing inside for a function but this stopped after a few minutes. We sat outside and made the most of the sunshine. Service was pleasant and quick. Will go back and try the lunch menu.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Plenty of space inside and out. Great ocean view. Food plentiful, tasty and well presented. Highly recommended.

Came here for lunch after some drive to find that only had a limited menu on due to no staff. Not an issue, however the basket food was not up to standard by any means....the sausages were no bigger than my little finger, and deep fried to an inch of their life, and the chips tasted as if they had been reheated several times, and then just thrown in a small shopping basket....definitely not worth the £6.99.....on a plus note, the pub was beautifully laid out, pleasant staff, and a view to die for....shame the food ruined our visit...maybe they should just say sandwiches if no staff available to avoid a disaster of a meal

Great place right on the beach lovely food nice staff. Good atmosphere. Will visit again hopefully.

Better than I expected. The castle covers a huge area. Most of the walls are intact. Worth a visit

Thorough COVID reception. Whilst it was outside service only and a pretty cold day we were given a warm reception. The beer was excellent and at a reasonable price. The place has a good vibe.

It's a great little place right on the beach and the food is not to bad . And nice to sit have a drink or two with friends while you watch your mate working hard .
