The Berwick Inn in Wealden

Well what a lovely surprise that pub was.It used to have such a bad reputation I have always stayed clear of itSat at the train gates I saw the back garden had been done And seeing how many people and cars were in there we decided to stop.We were met by amazing friendly staff who knew what customer service was about.We were kept informed of how long our food was going to be.Staff were Talking joking with Joe public definitely recommend definitely going back

A party of six, including two children, weather changeable but plenty of tables outside under cover. A nice play area to keep the children occupied. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food excellent with plenty of choices. A good time was had by all.

Not going back here againPromised so much, delivered so littleBeen here two ago and it was fantastic, on that basis we booked for yesterday 17 April after being told by staff there was a gluten free menu ( verify bookings because fortunately on 15th we did and there were no records of us booking) and for one particular party member, sausages and chips available.Got there, ordered food, no gluten free as stated, and one junior member, no sausage and chips... What sort of restaurant is this?Other than that, staff who served us were lovely, the rest of the menu very nice but day Spoilt by inaccurate menu statement made by staff

Popped in & had their Mother's day menu. The food is really good honest pub grub but the real highlight are the staff - they're fantastic.Every single person was super friendly and helpful, they brought us a high chair for our little one without fuss and every table visit was accompanied by a smile and a chat. Thoroughly recommended.

Great place to eat and/or drink. We were made to feel very welcome, ate an amazing meal and had pudding. Staff very friendly, would definitely recommend.

Mother’s Day special roast dinner was superb. There was some mix up with food ordering but they made things right pretty quickly when they realised. Overall a pleasant experience.

I stayed here for a Sten do in the bell tents. The tents were beautiful, cosy and very comfortable. The food at the Berwick Inn was fantastic, the steak was cooked to perfection. The management and staff were so warm, welcoming and professional. A really great place to stay and dine. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, if you're looking for a getaway, I would highly recommend The Berwick Inn

Lovely pub , its a romantic setting right by the Train station . The staff were lovely very friendly . We even said hi to the chef 👨‍🍳 food was lovely. And it's very dog friendly. Next time we go to Abbotts Wood for a dog walj we will definitely go back there 😁

Food smelled and looked amazing, although we didn't eat there on our visit, we went to see a live band. Plan to go back to eat there soon.Lovely pub restaurant, really friendly staff. Has parking and has a garden which looked really fab.All beautifully decorated for Christmas 🎄😁

What a great place to go to for good food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We walked the dog round the nearby Arlington reservoir then off to the Berwick for a good hearty well cooked meal.The staff were attentive and they go above and beyond to meet expectations. The pie of the day was fantastic and a decent sized serving. The dog was welcomed too . We want to go back to experience the dining pod which we saw was heated , has music etc .. that’s going to a great night too. A good base to other places in East Sussex if you stay there too.
