Nice pub. Quirky and unusual snug interior. Good pint.

Great local pub. We both loved the curry, an extra pot of sauce with chips means you don’t need the starter.Service was a little slow but understand there were a few issues and was a little busy! The staff dealt with it well and were very responsive, well played. The tortellini felt fresh and the the salmon started again was fresh and flavoursome, wine impressive too.A little limited in some ways but for £50 a head including a glass of sparkling and 5 beers in total, would visit again.

One of those pubs that I suspect was a complete dump back in the day. Its obviously had a renovation and is a really decent looking pub/restaurant.

Went here today for a roast for a 1.30 booking. From the off the staff were excellent, attentive, swift and efficient. The food was unreal, the beef I had was so so tender you could of cut it with your finger seriously impessd the while meal was great all four of us enjoyed it and will 100% go back ! What a great pub

Stayed mid week on bed, breakfast and dinner deal. The rooms are modern and clean, with large comfy beds but nothing exceptional. The food however is fantastic, home made, and takes the overall experience from good to excellent. Even the breakfast was restaurant quality - we loved the herbed mushrooms! The drinks are expensive but overall it still works out good value if you’re drinking in moderation! Design wise the pub feels more like a restaurant and lacks the cosy touches of a pub but it wouldn’t stop us going back.Had the place almost to ourselves mid week with no noise or parking problems. Our room overlooked a side street.

Pleasant room and helpful reception and waiting staff. Extremely good food for evening meal and breakfast, cooked by Scottie. An unusual tapas style selection. Try the crispy clams. Also the eggs royale. And the chicken and mushroom ballotine is particularly scrumptious. Gluten free information and food so much better than many places.

Bed, breakfast and evening meal - 2 out of 3 ain't badExcellent evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but well planned and had everything we needed. Sadly, the mattress was well past its best. I could feel the springs through the mattress topper giving a very poor night's sleep. It needs changing. This small change would make a huge difference.

We stayed at the Buxted Inn as a last minute decision. We were not disappointed the staff extremely helpful, rooms exceptional clean and modern, a fantastic power shower. Loved the complimentary cookie. And the locally sourced jams were amazing at breakfast.

Just enjoyed a lovely tasty lunch and a few drinks here- our local. First outdoor drink with friend since last summer. Good menu, outdoor tables extended to welcome customers safely.Busy with families too. For now, great place provided weather is fine and not too windy. Plus in week, there's building going on opposite:(.
