Really lovely family restaurant! Despite having a power cut earlier in the area restaurant was open and ready for the day! Food and service was exceptionally good! King prawns were so delicious I had to order some extra for takeaway! Thank you Amin for the complementary dessert! Will be bringing my wife back here👍🏻

We eat in here quite alot and can never fault the food nor the service. Rita and Amin and their team are always friendly and helpful and the food is always freshly cooked to our requirements. Highly recommended 😊

i have given the curry inn 2 stars as the service is shocking before i even get into my experience if your mrs is ordering as your reading tell her to get off the phone and make sure if you have ordered and paying by cash you dont answer the door unless you want a dodgy stomach and a few tear stains on your pillow. now to my experience it was a friday night i had a long week at work i felt a bit cheeky and wanted some good food so i thought i might aswell treat myself so i ordered £50 worth of food and only £40 of it showed up i didnt receive my tandoori chicken naan bread and poppadoms (i really like poppadoms this made me extra offended) i had this food feeling disappointed and scammed by these con artists i called them up and they claimed that they had given me my full order and i was simply not telling the truth I went to sleep that night feeling betrayed and even shed a couple of tears on my pillow this was such a bad experience.

We used to eat here a lot before Covid but have not been back for a while, when we returned last week Amin and Rita welcomed us back like old friends. They couldn’t do enough for us, the food was delicious and when I couldn’t make up my mind what to order they made something up for me, which tasted amazing. I haven’t been to the other Indian in Heathfield since it changed hands but would highly recommend the Curry Inn. They also have a loyalty card scheme which makes take away better value, you can get a main course free.

Had a fantastic meal here on Sunday 8th August 2021. Food was amazing! We had Chicken Sashlick and various accompaniments. Great service. Great food. Highly recommend 👍🏿

I have come to Heathfield from E2;London, near Brick Lane. Having just had a curry takeaway from The Curry Inn at Station Road, Heathfield, I can say I've never had a better, tasty, ungreasy, gorgeous curry than from The Curry Inn @ Heathfield. I've eaten Indian food in India, on Green St in the East End and on Brick Lane, but none have bettered the nosh I've just had from the lovely people at The Curry Inn Heathfield....pleasantly surprised and soon to be back for more!!

Called at 5pm this evening to place an order to be delivered at 8pm. At 8.30 my wife called to ask if it was on its way, they said “6 minutes” … we explained that we have children who are very hungry and have an early start the next morning due to a trip away.. that’s why we called early and booked a delivery slot! The guy I spoke to assured me it would be delivered by 8 if not before… my wife called again at 5 to 9 only to be told it would be another 10 minutes.. she cancelled the order and the lady hung up on her.. children had some toast, and went to bed, my wife walked to Waitrose to grab an Indian meal deal for our selves… the manner in which the delay was handled was very unprofessional. Since talking to friends, many have experience similar problems. Will never use again … the Waitrose curry was delicious and under a tenner.. AVOID. ( delivery anyway )

Read good reviews so dropped in with a friend on a Tuesday evening. Wasn’t disappointed.Service fantastic, lovely and friendly, food was excellent, chicken tikka masala and lamb tikka masala both lovely. Lamb was nice and tender. All the meal was served hot with warm non greasy popadoms, hot Nan bread, nice choice of relishes. A great experience. We will definitely be back.

The Curry Inn is without doubt our favourite Indian restaurant. Rita and Amin are the most friendly, generous and natural hosts and in the kitchen the chefs are virtually alchemists with their ability to blend beautiful spices in to wonderful dishes. Amongst the chefs is one who specialises in using a traditional tandoori oven. We recommend it without hesitation and eagerly look forward to our next visit.

Takeaways are sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Last one the order was wrong, the lamb was overcooked and dry, the King prawns were rubbery, popadoms were soft and the rice was dry. Onion bhajees were good though. It was as if most of the meal had been re-heated.... Shame.
