What a wonderful place to have afternoon tea. Very attentive staff and absolutely delicious fresh sandwiches and baked goodies!!! The scones were to die for! They were still warm and served with Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam. Fresh strawberries (dipped in the remaining clotted cream 🤤) were yummy! Some lovely brownies and macarons too. The china and cutlery were just so. The sandwiches were filling and tasty. We especially enjoyed the Tuna and Olive sandwiches and the Coronation Chicken. The bread tasted so fresh. We ran out of room and needed a doggy bag 🤣 Mum also enjoyed some prosecco too! This was a Mother's Day treat and the staff made sure my mummy felt special. The restaurant was fairly full so we were glad we reserved our afternoon tea in advance. Don't get caught out... Call ahead and reserve now. It's great value and you will enjoy it!

Came for my mums birthday as she had been following the Instagram page for some time. Amazing service, lovely friendly staff and beautiful unique teapots, mugs, plates and cutlery. The signature hot salt beef sandwich was the best salt beef I have ever tasted, definitely a must try. Can’t recommend enough.

The Drawing Room was an absolute delight serving by far the freshest pastries and sandwiches I've ever had in an afternoon tea (all baked daily on the premises). We booked a table for 2 o'clock in the afternoon which was a busy time and boy was I impressed by how well drilled, motivated and courteous all the staff were. Food of this quality served to this high standard can only be the result of absolute dedication and a true labour of love by the owner of this establisment....hats off and now a firm favourite of ours.

This is a GREAT little place. Excellent food - caraway seed toast, beautifully cooked food and coffee you can actually drink (not bitter and roasted to the point of being burnt, as is so often the case these days). We didn't have cakes but they looked delicious. Everything home-made and freshly cooked. It was packed - and with good reason. We'll be back.

I went to this nice little shop more than once, as the food and drink erc is well presented and very nice. The staff on the whole are brilliant, however what spoiled it for me every time was the manager Justine. She was rude to both the customers and the staff and more than once I saw some if the younger members of staff looking visibly distressed. I was on more than one occasion going to step in and stop her blatant bullying but my wife requested I didn't. I also witnessed the same woman being incredibly rude to the customers particularly the elderly ones who didn't seem to want to cause a fuss and just accepted it.I will not be returning to The Drawing Room whe this woman works there which is a real shame because it could be a lovely place. Its just a shame that one rotten apple spoils the barrel.

What a beautiful place! The decor, staff and food was all fantastic. A great, varied menu - so much choice. The salt beef salad was unbelievable, lovely quiche of the day with homemade coleslaw and potato salad and melting brie and bacon toastie was devoured. Will certainly be visiting again!

Coffee and a slice of warm brownie with cream, delicious. Welcomed by Santa having come through the imitation snow, very festive. Staff friendly and smoothest coffee I've had in a while. I'll be back again in the new year.

An absolute delight! We’re new to the area and this was our first visit to Locksbottom and the Drawing Room and I’m so glad we stopped by. Beautiful set up with lovely staff and tasty, fresh food. Highly recommend the salt beef and the potato salad. Can’t wait to come back for the afternoon tea

Birthday afternoon tea for my partner. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I accidentally dropped some brownie crumps on my white dress and one of the staff (I think it's the owner's daughter) saw it and immediately brought a clean wet wipe. That's what you call being attentive and kind!
