The King's Head East Hoathly in Wealden

Roast and Pie, what's not to like. Very tasty, very hot, VERY generous portions at a good price. It was very quiet as the rest of the world was at a Jubilee tea party up the road but there was still a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lovey staff.

Really great local pub. Very friendly people, both the barmaid and the locals. Very well priced pub food. Beer brewed next door.

The function room was flithy, dirt on grotty floor, very large cobwebs, curtains tatty and falling off rail, the whole room needs a deep clean and a spruce up. Not sure I would eat here, as the kitchen may be in the same state. Such a shame as it could be so lovely.

This is what village pubs are all about. Fantastic food and a lovely friendly atmosphere. The whole Kings Head team are at the top of their game, we could not have been better looked after. Sunday roast pork and roast lamb were superb. This pub is an absolute gem!
