The Picture House Cinema and Restaurant in Wealden

Great little cinema, very comfy seating. Much better than the huge chain cinemas. Only down side was the wait to be served at the beginning as the Lounge guests were taking up most of the staff’s time making a very stressed working environment for staff. Could do with more toilets. Each screen has a small seating area meaning you are never that far away from the screen or that you feel you are lost in a huge crowd. Very good atmosphere.

Best restaurant in Uckfield lovely service and friendly workers and lots of menu options the food came out quickly and was delicious. You can tell that the chefs put a lot of work into the dish and the dessert was fabulous. All around five star rating.

I went with my family to the picture house last night and tried out ‘the Lounge’, the luxury cinema room but for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend. The staff were lovely, the chairs were very comfortable and the table service was excellent.

We had a really nice meal and the service was excellent. Then into the cinema. A great night out was had by all. So cool to eat decent food in a groovy cinema. Makes you wonder why people go to Odeon or Vue 🌻🙂🌻

The restaurant is OK, the cinema is quite nice too - so why only one star? - well good luck if you ever need to have a reasonable conversation with the owner about an online booking mistake. He has a very unique approach to the concept of customer service. We won’t be going back.

Lovely cinema, watched a film in the lounge. Very comfortable seats, small venue, which has a lot of appeal. Food and drinks brought to your seat, which is ordered by your phone. Would definitely recommend, will will certainly go there again, very impressed.

This is a nice little restaurant with film posters on the wall. The food was good although my steak was a little chewy. The staff were efficient and polite. It is reasonably priced.

What a fabulous cinema. I’m reluctant to write this review just because then everyone will know about it! It’s charming. Super clean. Friendly and helpful staff. A nice touch is a bar in the foyer and you can take the drinks into the cinema. Seating is very comfy with ample leg room and no obscured vision when people seated in front of you. We are already planning our next visit. Don’t go anywhere else! Great value for money. Highly recommended
