Brilliant ambience & lovely food. The restaurant was recommended so popped in while on business in the area, did not disappoint!

Great food and good selection of dishes. Website can be a bit hard to find some dishes you want though.

The best Indian in the area. Great flavours in all the dishes. Takeaway service quick and easy, staff very friendly and helpful.

Totally love it. The food was satisfying to the soul, the reception is welcoming and the ambiance is worth every bite. The staff and the chef’s are trained and work under a five star hotel captain/chef. No wonder it was soooooo good.

First choice for a guaranteed meal and service when meeting friends, it never disappoints. Viv runs a great restaurant and he has excellent support from his team. In terms of food I rarely decide what to eat instead I put my trust in Viv to decide that for me, it’s the best way! Last evening Viv recommended a new dish Kachampuli (I had a lamb version) served with Dal and Naan, very nice indeed! The first taste is acidic but then the flavours change to fruit and spice and eaten with the Dal I really enjoyed it.If you don’t choose this particular dish do try leaving your choice to Viv, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Awesome curry house...food is Always piping hot and very tasty.Worthy of note is Viv the manager who is professional and attentive to all his guests.He also has a terrific team of cooks and waiting staff who make the Royal the best curry house in Hailsham and Eastbourne.a great evening and well worth a visit 😊

Food, average. Customer service, doggy doodoos.The dumpy little English lady in ‘front of house’ should’ve been sent to a farm from a young age, as that’s where her attitude belongs, with the other swine.Shan’t be ordering here again, and such a shame as my family have done for years. Thank you for the memorable experience.

Having committed well over 15 years to my extensive research, I am happy to confirm this is a very fine establishment. They do all the classics plus lots of new things that will surely become your new favourites.I am really looking forward to post COVID times when I can enjoy this environment with my friends and family again.Needless to say, I will carry on testing their take out / delivery menu in the meantime. ;-)

Always brilliant, both for takeaways and eating in. Food is superb and the service is excellent. Been coming here for years, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.Update 27th Oct 2018 : another lovely meal here with great service, friendly staff and delicious food. Why go anywhere else!
