Good place for lunch, or if later in the afternoon a coffee and a cake. Nice to sit outside and people-watch.

Lovely friendly tea room with outside seating, absolutely fabulous scones ...try the savoury option...cream cheese and warm red onion chutney. Yummy 😋

Lovely lunch at this little cafe. We had two avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon. Whole meal for £25.

Alfriston an iconic and classic Sussex village with this place a personal favourite. It is small but perfectly formed. Coffee and food good. Dog and human friendly. Tiny courtyard garden at back with a few tables.

Loved the food 😋 and the way it was presented. 4 stars as there was only 1 table of 4 and therefore we had to split our group. Sit separately and still get charged 10% For having more than 3 people.

I had my first taste of the British Scones at The Singing Kettle - Teahouse & Eatery in Alfriston. I will never forget.I was already in live with the beautiful village but eating at The Singing Kettle was a really great for me. The place is small but gorgeous, old but refreshing, and all round nice. The customer relations was top-notch and the food, oh my God. I can still taste it in my mouth.Take me back to Alfriston ❤️

The Singing Kettle is a lovely little place in the heart of the town. The service is quick and very friendly and the menu has a lot to offer. I had a coffee and a salmon sandwich from the lunch menu. The delicious sandwich had thick cut bread and had a generous amount of salmon and creme cheese on it.They have a separate breakfast menu which closes at 12pm, so make sure to be there well before if you're coming for breakfast! 🥐The only negative point is that the place is quite cold as they kept the door open due to COVID measures. So, make sure to bring a thick pullover in the colder months.Nevertheless, if you're in town for a visit, make sure to check out this place!
