Fantastic Pub with amazing staff and the food was just superb. Their gluten free options were incredible and the cider was even better. Thanks so much!

Great food, the gravy that came with the kids sausages was to die for. They should serve gravy and chips! Loos smelt really lovely, nice decor. Would recommend.

From the moment we walked in we had brilliant service. Such a lovely building. Friendly and polite staff.Room was perfect for what we needed. It was the small double but was bigger than expected. Coffee machine was great and the little boxes of tea is a great touch. Towels are nice and big and soft. Bed is comfy and nice feathered pillows. Shower is big and very powerful. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner is a great touch.Breakfast was very nice !! And Ola was very nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.Thank you 😊

We came here for a Sunday lunch and even though we didn't book and it was very busy, the staff still managed to find us a table! The chorizo scotch egg was so delicious. 100% getting that again. We then went for the Pie of the Day which was beef and gravy. It came with mash by default but they managed to change one of the mash sides for a side of sweet potato fries, which was delish!Definitely coming back again!

Popped in for lunch on Friday and had a really good time. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. I had the scallops and I really enjoyed them. Really tasty chicken and ham pie. The scotch egg was a starter and it was deliciously light. Fish and chips were first class. We thought it was fairly priced and given how good the food was it was value for money. The pub was busy but we didn’t feel crowded. Very spacious and light. Thank you for a great lunch

Clean and modern within a lovely OLD stone public house! The cocktails were delicious and the fire place chairs gave us a unique perspective - they have some great beers on tap! But also INCREDIBLE food with alot of top reviews to go with their creative sounding menu! Photographs of the menus below! It seems we came on a NON restaurant day! Rates are reasonable for the hotel which offers beautifully decorated rooms…lovely modern decor!

Really disappointed today with the customer service (if you could even call it that!) we received. I walked in with my family of 4 and we were given no welcome whatsoever…. they had been open 40 minutes and very quiet at the time and the kitchen was opening in 20 mins time… we had to wait quite a considerable time at the bar to be even noticed!! We had walked from East Grinstead with two young children and all we wanted was some drinks and asked if we could have a portion of chips for the children to share when the kitchen opened and they refused!!! They said they were a chef down and couldn’t!! I noticed there were a few tables reserved, earliest times booked for 12.30 and then some for 13.30 onwards etc. I could understand if we were wanting to properly eat and order 4 meals but ONE PORTION OF CHIPS??!!!! Seriously!!!!! I just think it’s pathetic. I found the staff to be extremely unhelpful. Ended up eating at Java & Jazz across the road and had a wonderful time from a team who bent over backwards for us. It’s completely put me off ever returning to The Swan. I honestly wouldn’t bother.

Gorgeous food, lovely team, no music intruding on conversation and no dress code, other than casual... I refuse to be told how to dress to spend MY money!

My husband and I had lunch here on Saturday. The location very easy to find as it’s in the center of town. We tried to find place for lunch which is easy to park, so when we stick at round about, we saw The Swan on the other side of the road and decide to have lunch there.During the pandemic, the staff ask us to write our details. It’s good. We happy to know that this place follow the health protocol and support government to monitoring the spread of covid-19There are few corner with hand sanitation. The cutleries already packed as we normally have meal on the flight. The staff also very friendly.I saw there is back garden which is nice area for those who come with dogs. Its nice area. The portion of marinated olive is big, so make sure you share it if you decide to order it.As well the pork crackling, it has medium portion. I think for nibbling will enough for 2-3 ppl.The pies is delicious. And fish and chip also good. I asked the staff to change my mash peas with seasonal vegetable (without extra cost) the chunky chips just perfect. They also help and give me box to take away my left over food.Fish and chips and the pork crackling portion are too big for me 😁😁.It such a waste if i didnt bring it home.We will come back next time to try sunday roast dinner.
