Food was really good, nice fire place keeping the place warm. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Would recommend.

Great atmosphere and drinks. Terrible food. Burger was dry and, weirdly, had pickles. Pasta was extremely oily and under seasoned. Very pricey for very poor quality.

Great meal tonight. Ribs stunning, as was the pizza. Chips the best ever!!! Cole slaw, home made and really delicious. A great evening out at The Wheel in Burwash. Thank you 😊

Popped in for lunch after visiting NT Batemans and wasn't disappointed. My husband chose Fish and Chips which was substantial and he thoroughly enjoyed it. My salmon on a bed of chargrilled vegetables was absolutely delicious. Thank you chef. And thank you to the friendly staff.

We had a Sunday lunch at the wheel Inn, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the food was delicious and plenty,We have now added it to our favourite places.

Booked a table for lunch today to celebrate 51st wedding anniversary . On arrival @ 13.25 shown to our table . Noticed that the 3 tables in the dinning and the large party outside were all waiting for food . No one was eating which is very unusual . After a long wait we ordered drinks and upon delivery the waitress said I will get you menus . Again after some time she appeared with just a one sheet menu with very little choice . We decided on a starter and a main option which according to the menu was £11.00 for both courses . We had finished the 1st course and whilst waiting for our main 1of the other tables had their food delivered . Sunday roast . We said to the waitress that it wasn’t on the menu you gave us had we had known we would have ordered the roast . Some 10 minutes later out main arrived and we said again that you didn’t give us that menu the response was sorry . We ate up and went to pay . It wasn’t until I queried the amount being charged that the manager was summoned. She took over and and listened to my complaint then presented me with a bill for the same amount . I questioned the amount and said the the menu price was 2 courses £11.00 . It the became apparent that the waitress had given us the weekday lunch menu and not the full weekend menu and dthe blackboard with the full choice of offerings . The manager amended our bill we paid and left amicably .The service was the worst We have ever received From a pub/restaurant and on this service we are very very reluctant to return .I regret having to give such a bad review but the service was that diabolical I have no choice .

Last minute we called and booked for 24 people. They gave us a private room and couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. The Sunday roast was one of the best I've ever had, and cheap too. Couldn't have been more impressed.

Great home made food. We have been a couple of times and will be back. Not expensive and well worth the money. Staff friendly and efficient
