Nice little establishment, cosy and you feel welcomed from the moment you step in! I've had the takeaway rolls a couple of times and I'm sorry to say I wouldn't recommend them. Burgers are nice, but the best way to dine here is to sit in and be served at the table, lovely breakfast, well cooked and again served with a smile.

What a great little find. Lovely breakfast went for the Whistle-stop. Good quality sausages, proper mushrooms really good 10/10 but what gives it the 5/5 is service the lady owner or front of shop was smiley great with people and really good service. Highly recommend shown by how busy it was when I was there.

The breakfast is so good here. I enjoy every mouth full. I would eat here every day if I could. Delicious food, delightful people. Very friendly staff & very reasonable prices.The Whistlestop Cafe has had a new facelift. New front doors. Fresh paint. It looks so nice & inviting. I took a friend there on Sat. He was so impressed with his brekky. He enjoyed every mouthful. & can't wait to be able to go again. You get value & quality for your money. Well worth going. I highly recommend it. The staff are so good too. Asking if all was ok. Any complaints, if they get any. Would be tactfully resolved. Not that I've heard anyone complain. Proper stronger ground coffee, would be the icing of the cake.

Ordered a all day breakfast, beans were cold, egg was snotty and under cooked, bacon was cheap and too salty and sausage was rank! To top all this off the cup that they served the tea in had a charity shop sticker on it which was half picked off and looked like it was soaked in dirty water. Also the knife and fork wasn’t the cleanest.So food quality and hygiene doesn’t seem important to the owners, the cold sore hanging off the owners lip makes you wonder how many people she might of passed this on too going by the hygiene standards I witnessed today. I won’t be returning to this cafe which is a shame as when owned by others before it was a really nice cafe. Standards are no where near to how this place use to be!

Have avoided going here as the last time we used (some many months ago) the food wasn't great, however this time, Freshly cooked/made breakfasts, sandwiches, baguettes. Breakfast was exactly as asked for and service was good (remember it's a small place so food will take time to prepare and serve).
