Had a lovely late lunch with my elderly dad today. The access was excellent and both dad and I enjoyed a delicious roast beef lunch. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were so kind and caring. Definitely going back. Thank you

We went for a spur of the moment Sunday roast. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. 2 of us had the pork belly, and 2 had the turkey roast. The pork belly was really good. The Turkey was a Turkey roll joint rather than a full bird or crown, not exactly as we were expecting. It wasn't as nice as expected. However, the accompaniments were really nice. Stuffing ball, pig in blanket, large Yorkshire pud with green beens, cauliflower cheese & greens. Really tasty overall but a little pricey. I would recommend but eorth considering the cost, a roast is around £18-20 for an adult & £8 for a child.

We have just eaten at The White Hart and it was FANTASTIC!!! We ate burgers and roasts and every meal was incredible. Well presented, really tasty and just the right amount.The service was also superb! The staff were smiley, attentive and polite and we couldn't have asked for anything more.Huge thanks to all at The White Hart...I would highly recommend!

This was one of the best roast dinners I have ever had out. The roast trio consisted of beef, pork belly and turkey with all the trimmings and lots of delicious gravy. Virtually faultless. The portions were large including the desserts which were equally generous. The building is cozy with real fires and a spacious conservatory. To top it off the staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely friendly staff, dog friendly and delicious food. We had the calamari and cod tacos then the Cote de Boeuf. Great quality meat and superbly cooked!

The food was perfectly good but the service was a bit rough round the edges. The young lad who took over our table seemed good though. A bit pricey and the decor was soulless with some proper chain pub touches that made for a rather indifferent atmosphere. It definitely felt like a town pub/restaurant, not a traditional Sussex country pub but it will suit some people fine I'm sure.

Utterly brilliant, I cannot fault the place.I'm autistic & my partner has food allergies, it was our first time in a pub in over a year so we were concerned about going.The Covid measures in place are spot on, the social distancing between tables is right & the staff are masked.The staff were knowledgeable about their menu & adapted dishes to dietary requirements whilst giving the impression that it was no trouble at all & making us feel relaxed.The food served was second to none; expertly cooked, beautifully flavoured & well presented with good portion sizes, all for a very, very reasonable price.I can "hart"ily recommend The White Hart & am looking forward to going back.
