Just pop in for a quick drink at this cosy little pub. Set in this lovely village with a tranquil atmostphere just at the edge of the town.Food looks good (just had a big burger at Honest) but must try the food next time nearby.Of course friendly staffs (and dogs friendly is a big bonus!)

It's a great location and the staff were very friendly and doing an amazing job during a busy Easter weekend. We had been here before for food (albeit several years ago) but unfortunately were very disappointed on this occasion. I see other recent reviews haven't been too impressed either. The burger was tasty but the bun was very cheap. The chips were undercooked almost to the point of being inedible. We didn't bother staying for desert.I'd stop again for a drink thanks to the location and serving staff but wouldn't bother trying the kitchen again.

Visited the place yesterday, it’s beautiful country side pub, don’t get me wrong . We been lucky and saw traditional dancers as well, but there were not enough staff! The guys was flying up and down as it was really busy, so quality of costumer service -400. They been kinda rude as well. Food could be better and the best part was when they charged me and after they charged my friend again 🤬 My 2 stars are for dancers

Overall, a very pleasant experience, April 10th. Recommend prawn cocktail & roast chicken lunch. Lovely green to sit out in the sunshine. Lots of tourists, walkers & dogs, so much so, I mistook the bar for a canine home.

Beautiful old pub in a historic village green. Full of character, it’s the perfect place to have a cosy pint after a walk alongside the coast. We stayed the night in a gorgeous double room with a view over the green. It was so quiet and peaceful. Brilliant breakfast in the morning and the team there are very friendly and helpful. I would 100% come back again.

Great place to end a hike. Beautiful location. Friendly staff.Food is great but veggies are boiled to death. I like my veggies crunchy and not mushy. (Not talking about mushy peas here).

Lovely old pub in the middle of the village. Good beer. Dining area a little cramped. Food was quite expensive for the quality. Maybe we were unlucky. Fish wasn't filleted (as promised), Pie was very soggy and diced ham chunks a bit off-putting. Custard was quite bland. Might go back for a drink but probably not to eat.

Good selection of beers and food. I have previously been and enjoyed the food, however I went for lunch yesterday (end of lunch service at 3:15) and myself and my dad had the haddock and chips. It tasted great, however both him and myself were very ill a few hours later. My mum and my partner, who had other meals, felt absolutely fine and enjoyed their food. I'm very disappointed that I received food poisoningas I usually enjoy the food at The Tiger. Definitely put me off returning fod food again. That is the reason for my 1 star review

Good looking pub in a stunning location but the food is basic, reminds me of food you would get at a theme park… onion rings, chips, burgers - all done below par, expect a stale burger bun, cheap chunky chips like the ones you can get from a local Chinese takeaway. Would normally order Guinness because the drinks menu wasn’t that exciting. Basically, it’s a busy successful pub because of its location, (its front garden is a village green) and it’s a beautiful old pub. The wait staff are super friendly. Should really try and up your food and drinks game though.

Absolutely fantastic meal! I had one of the best burgers here, the meat was really good quality and super tasty! The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly; top-notch service. 👌🏻
