Trading Boundaries Cafe Bar in Wealden

I have now attended TB on four separate occasions - 2x Standing and 2x Dining Live Music Events. It's such a delightfully chilled and friendly venue (which indidentally, folk have been known to travel internationally to, simply for a single gig...), and it's pretty plain to see why many of the Bands that I enjoy (Pendragon, Lifesigns, Dave & Sally, etc.) come back here time and time again.The owners really do attempt to make all their guests feel very welcome, and the overall effect is almost like attending a superbly-catered, amplified and lit gig in someone's very large private home.Without exception, ALL the guests that I've introduced to this compact gem of a venue have volunteered comments along the lines of: "Well, I really did NOT expect it to be quite as great/fun/impressive as this!".Bravo to the whole team at TB.Now - If only I could transport the whole thing a little closer to my home! (90 mins drive) ;-)

Music was great and decent sound. However, seating locations meant you were side on with not a great view. Probably better off buying a standing ticket. Food was okay but quite long waits and no obvious system for who got food first. Paying for pre-ordered drinks at the end seemed a daft system and just created a long queue. Also entry was slow, although everyone did turn up at the same time.Roger Dean exhibition is excellent.Music, sound, and artist 5*Food and service 3*

Great night out, brilliantly efficient owners and waiting staff. We had a table of sixteen people and it all went without a hitch. Music was good too 😉

It's OK... very pricey artwork but with some Christmas bits on sale. None of the "outbuildings" open. Nice cafe - food good with pleasant staff. Will keep an eye on evening events but wouldn't rush back - just not to my liking

Cafe only just reopened and still needs a bit of improvement. Drinks and cakes only for now. Shop is great. Love the Roger Dean paintings 🖼

Intimate venue for dining with a concert. The building also houses shops for artworks by Roger Dean and Eastern style furnishings. A treat! They are also building a hotel to allow stays on site. A unique venue worth finding

Great place for a mooch around, lots of interesting pieces of furniture and trinkets. Little cafe is good for a hot drink and a snack. Peaceful atmosphere.

Went to see Pink Floyd tribute band. First gig since lockdown. Food was great. Sound was great and the venue was fantastic. Only groan would be the bar. Not much in choice when it comes to beer. Personally I would love to see more local produce on the bar. Wasn't sure if we could que at the bar so did wait for someone to come to us so maybe a little more attentive but everyone was busy. Great night though.

A smashing little venue. Good food and great entertainment at a fair price. Recommended.

We really enjoyed the Mike Oldfield Live show in August. Great to see the venue up and running again - it's a unique combo of intimate dining with excellent music. Be prepared to wait for your food.. The kitchens are not up to 100% capacity but we were happy to be there regardless. Highly recommended!
