Popped in for a lovely lunch with friends, the start were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The burgers were lovely, we sat in the garden and enjoyed a bottle of wine. Lovely pub, great service will be back.

Karen and her team could not have been more accommodating when a group of us turned up near the end of lunchtime service yesterday. We were made to feel welcome , the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.Apologies to the chef....we will give more notice next time and there will definitely be a next time. 😁

Best pub lunch I’ve had in ages! Also by far the best staff!! They were all incredibly lovely, especially our main server, I meant to get her name.. a lovely lady with short hair and glasses. They looked after us so well and were attentive and friendly and the food superb!! 🤩

I've been a few times in the last year, and the quality improves each time. They've recently got a new chef and the quality and creativity of the food has improved dramatically. The staff are always extremely friendly and work hard to support my disabled parent.

First visit and definitely won't be our last ! The food was amazing, my husband had the steak and ale pie and it was FULL of steak he couldn't believe how much was in there. My ham, egg and chips was delicious. The ham was full of flavour and not a string of fat in sight. The staff were friendly and attentive. See you all again soon. P.s bring back the mac cheese pleeeeeeease xxx
