A bit of a mixture as the room was tired and the bathroom in particular needed redecorating as the mastik had been spread over all the tiles and painted blue badly. However it was clean and the shower worked well. The staff also seemed disorganised as we were different things by different people and a there was no one about during a fire alarm during the night to account for people or explain the false alarm. In its favour the food in the evening for all 3 meals was excellent and well priced.

Beutiful location, great food and very welcoming team! A little gem of a pub for sure and if you are after a long drive the adjoined hotel can provide you with a cost room! We will be returning. Many thanks

Check in was fast and efficient, rooms spacious and well lit. Large comfortable bed and breakfast was superb. This place is a fantastic place to stay at a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay again.Well done to all that work there , you made helped to make our weekend memorable.

An absolutely perfect spot to stop for a chill few beers or food or both. I've not stayed in the hotel yet but I certainly will be soon.I travel to the area about once per month . I have always found the staff and the atmosphere to be really friendly and welcoming.Last summer I sat out on the front patio area and had the salt squid for a snack with a couple of beers- the squid was superb. Probably the best I've ever had

went today for a early Mother’s Day lunch out with 3 other guests. we got there and ordered 3 mock tails from the menu, clearly pointing out to the bartender what we would like. these mock tails were for a 16 year old, a pregnant woman and someone who was driving and didn’t want alcohol. However, until we got the bill, which we had issues with due to the food that was served for us, which I’ll get to further more into this review, we were told that these mock tails, that we ordered had alcohol in them. the bartender was very confused and we let them know that they just served a pregnant woman alcohol and served an under age 16 year old girl alcohol. We were extremely unhappy and uncomfortable with this due to the dangers of giving alcohol to a pregnant woman and 16 year old as well as someone who is driving, as we asked for mock tails which did NOT contain alcohol. we got no apologies, just gaslight as the bartender said that we pointed to the cocktail page as we were telling him our drink order, however, we were not, as we even said we would like 3 MOCK tails! this is very dangerous and should not be tolerated, if this was to happen to someone who has a allergy, then it would of been a much more dangerous situation. Luckily no one had an allergy or medical issue, however they pregnant woman was very upset and did not get an apology of any kind. With the food, we ordered a beef burger meal and fish and chips meal, as well as a sharing platter of 2. The two meals were okay, nothing to complain about that, however the sharing platter could not serve two, more like one. The food was not up to standard and clearly was frozen before cooked. the bread that was brought out was rock hard, and the manager blamed it on the sun, which couldn’t of been to blame, due to us being under shade in a cooler area. Myself and one of the guests went to talk to the manager to see if he could help us. the manager was blank out rude and very sensitive and could not take any constructive criticism. he clearly forgot the rule of “customers are always right” and he stood there arguing and making excuses. As well as that, he called myself and the other guest bullies for coming to talk to him, which was ridiculous and so we left, since we were not going to waste our time on a place that gives underage people alcohol and pregnant women alcohol, without us ordering it. shame on this pub. something should be done about this.

A warm welcome was received from all the staff for our group. We were well looked after at our evening meal and breakfast. The hotel was clean and had everything that we needed for our overnight stay. Twin rooms had two proper beds, which was great for our group.

Every single member of staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The bar area was nice for a drink. A very comfortable and very large bed in the room. I was taken ill during my stay and the receptionist and other staff were so nice and couldn't be more helpful, to me and my partner too. They were very kind, accommodating and caring to us.. . So thank you.
