"A friendly neighbourhood pub at the top of the High Street in Hungerford, with plenty indoor seating and a lovely outdoor space with patio and large garden. The new landlady Sylvi Giuliani, a South African expat, made Hungerford her home in 2006 and took over the reins of the Borough late June 2017. The pub was tastefully refurbished in November 2017 for a fresh, modern facelift, yet keeping the traditional neighbourhood feel. We offer a selection of draughts, ales, wine, spirits, soft drinks and hot beverages. Food service started for the first time in March 2018 and our food is made with fresh ingredients on site. We regularly have entertainment nights with DJ, live music, open mic nights, karaoke and other events. Pop in and say hi!"

What a crock! A booking for a table made in advance to be able to enjoy the British and Irish lions v cell c sharks game which starts at 6pm cancelled because of the euros semi-final and people wanting to book for the football. Did they not think we would stay to watch the football as well. The football kick off is only at 8 pm. How very narrow-minded...if I could give less than 1 star I would...awful customer service!

Nicely decorated and fitted out Wadsworth pub towards the top end of the high street. Supplying good range of beers, wines and spirits. Pizza oven serving good quality pizzas, also curry, warm and friendly pub with garden to the rear

The perfect to visit. We went to get some lunch yesterday (Monday), delicious hand made pizza - genuinely best that we’ve had, first class, great taste, and beautifully cooked in their pizza oven.Great atmosphere, the manager is very welcoming and relaxed, made us feel very at home. Pub and facilities spotless, service swift and very competent. I can’t praise this place high enough.You don’t have to visit it but you’d be a complete plank not to!!Cheers guys.Nicky and Jim

A proper local... 2 pool tables... Darts etc... Nice people & GOOD BEER.Edited review.This place hasn't changed much since my last review except a new Landlady who is doing a great job.Watch this space for new pictures as in October we are due a sparkle.Update June 18Sparkle now done, this place looks amazing.It now serves freshly prepared food 7 days a week and it's extended its opening hours
