Easy to get around not to crowded and served by experienced staff

Brilliant place, friendly staff great atmosphere.

It was our first time visiting Boswells the food was well presented the coffee was better than I expected and tables and chairs were nicely spaced out. Both our meals were decent my partner said he liked the well cooked sausages the staff were friendly the only complaint I have was the cutlery, cups could have been cleaner.

Really hit and miss with what you get here. Early day freshly cooked food is what to go for, avoid the rest. Also handed one of the staff a dirty item of cutlery and they wiped it with their finger and put it back in the pile. Worrying.

RUBBISH! Small portions and way way overpriced for what you get. Frozen bacon and dodgy sausages, a very poor cafe! Builders made to feel very unwelcome. You don’t even get toast or bread with a £9 breakfast! Need to have a word with themselves

Spacious, clean tables, polite service,music a little loud though and coffee was slightly bitter.

Went in today for some lunch. Really fancied the potato skins filled with cheese n bacon, looked really nice, was awful, they were dry n tasteless, salt n pepper never made a difference, I ate about 3/4 bites from one potato, got up n left it was that bad, but the place was really busy, so will give it another try, next time im in town.

We visited as our 1st Post-Covid cafe dining experience! It was great with clean tables & delicious Steak Pie with Chips & Cappachino. Thank you Boswell's! Recommended!

First time I’d visited Boswells and what a pleasant experience! I’d made the most of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and I didn’t have my dog with me as I would usually, so Boswells was a good option. The team were very friendly and the food was delicious - possibly too much chicken to salad ratio if that’s even a thing!!

We went there for a late snack lunch, we ordered two capuccinos, two bacon sandwiches and a bowl of chips.The two coffees came very cold a d we asked for a change which they did it politely and quicker.Very nice place, prices, nice food and costumer services.
