Chop Suey House in West Berkshire

Ordered king prawn chowmien, chicken curry rice and chips,was nice but not a prawn to be seen in the chowmien, phone up to complain and couldn't really understand what the lady was trying to tell me so said bye and rang of. Won't be ordering from them again.

We ordered our dinner with a very nice man on the phone and it arrived on time.However. Everything was watered down? Chicken and sweet corn soup, watered down and flavourless, satay chicken inedible just chicken floating in peanut water and my boyfriends beef in black been was swimming around too. The redeeming dish was my delightful crispy duck pancakes… however, SHOCK hoisin sauce watered down too… thanks for the hydration chop suey.

This is our first use of this establishment, we had a delivery. The phone service was polite and efficient, the delivery was prompt and the food was at the correct temperature (ie. Hot).The food portions were ample and the food itself was fresh and of good quality. Will certainly use again.

Sadly really average and very expensive. Food was just OK, it took over an hour to arrive and both food and delivery charges were high. Wouldn't order again, which is a shame, as it's a good, comprehensive menu, and the staff were pleasant.

Worst Chinese I’ve had in the Newbury/thatcham area. Don’t bother waste of money.Waited an hour which was fine as I was told it would be about an hour but at least make the food be worth it.I’ve had better pot noodles.Chow Maine with burnt noodles and no sauce whatsoever also the rice dish which was pork chicken and duck is literally a couple of pieces of meat with basically a bowl of unseasoned overcooked rice. 🤢🤢🤢🤢💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

take away ordered food was cold..none of it was fresh all was chewy and the duck as picture shows was well over cooked and solid! will not order or recomend worse chinese I have ever had to throw away

A lifesaver during COVID, haven't had take-away Chinese since last February. Delivery was spot on, ribs and crispy chili beef was amazing. Thank you very much for a delicious dinner on a rainy Sunday in Enborne.

Can't say anything bad about this place. Staff is very nice and helpful. Menu is quite big and inexpensive (see photos). My order was ready in less than 10 min. I would call this a classical Chinese takeaway.
