A fantastic first experience at the Corn Exchange taking my three year there to see the Gingerbread Man by Stuff and Nonsense. Lovely welcoming staff, space to park the buggy, booster seats for the children, cafe/bar, and lovely auditorium. The show was great too, we will definitely go here again with our young family. Perfect location to eat out afterwards too.

Newbury's vulnerable diamond. Prime real estate seems to suffer continual sniffing from developers, and ever diminishing arts council subsidy. Has great support from A-Listers willing to do material try outs. Good varied line in drama, comedy and broadcast theatre. Make use of this place, there isn't a replacement if it goes.

I went here last night for the first time. I've lived in Newbury for nearly five years so am amazed it's taken me this long. The staff were very helpful in showing my fiance and me to our seats. If there were accessible toilets they could have been better signposted. Trying to get the wheelchair into the regular toilet was a very tight squeeze. Lesson learned. Next time we will ask someone for directions. It's a shame that most of the audience weren't heeding the large signs to "please wear a mask". They could hardly have been more clear. But that's not the venue's fault. The seating here is tiered very well, so wherever you sit you're going to have a good view of the stage and we weren't disappointed.I'll definitely be keeping my eye on what's on here in future. Especially given its location - so nice not to have to get on a train at the end of a night out!

Great shows there for children. The seats are all slanted and leveled so that children can see even if someone tall is sitting in front of them. Booster seats are available for the littlest ones. Plenty of choices of snacks and cakes to choose from including hot and cold drinks.

Went to see Cinderella. It was by far the best panto I have ever seen. The performance and the writing were both fantastic, and my child was singing along and dancing. It was also a socially distanced performance, which was a really good idea. Will definitely be back for more!

Lovely place to go, we went for the pantomime. The bar serves nice coffee, as well as the usual range of drinks and food. Volunteers all very helpful, seeing us to our seatsThe reason I didn't give them four stars is Covid related - we were in our seats for the pantomime and there was lots of music playing while we waited. Many people weren't wearing masks and although there were a couple of announcements asking people to wear them, they were made over the music so didn't have much impact. The other thing is someone, I assume in the cast, tested positive on a lateral flow test. I understand why they cancelled the show however we were all in our seats so it was a shame they hadn't done their tests a bit earlier.Having said that, I will definitely be back, this is a fantastic venue.
