A lovely coffee sat with walking group good service today

My order was completely wrong, the tables and toilets were unacceptably dirty. Very poor

Costa is normally a safe bet for coffee, but this time I didn't have any, so I cannot comment on this specific shop.I had pastries, though, and in recent years I almost always found that Costa is not the best place to get them. This time made no exception: pastries were OK but they weren't fresh or crisp... taste was fine and I was in a rush to get some sugary food while on a long bike ride, but given the option I would not get them here again.Service was so and so... Covid measures were in place, which was a welcome sight, but service was a little slow and the two waiters seemed a little disorganised. Although not particularly friendly, they were polite and doing what probably was their best to serve customers as quickly as possible.Even though I was hoping to spend less time in the queue, I wouldn't really complain about service overall.Facilities and toilets seemed clean.

I loved my ham and cheese bread thing My hot chocolate not so much. But solid place for breakfast!

Went to meet a friend who was treating me. We both decided on teacakes but was told they are out of stock so I chose the carrot cake and I csn honestly say it was the dryist cake I have ever tasted. I should know as I'm a cake maker. Never leave cake slices uncovered !!!

Good service, friendly and welcoming staff. Always get a nice cuppa in a pleasant surrounding... Good selection of cakes, toasted panini's and toasted sandwiches.. I think there is offroad parking at the back of the costa too, but never figured out how to get to it : )

Good Costa place. Nothing out of ordinary. Staff is good, helpful and fast enough. Tables are always clean. There are always queues in front of the coffee shop.
