Fox & Hounds in West Berkshire

What a team! Held my birthday dinner and family party at the pub a few days ago and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible, the staff were amazing and the help from Chris and the team was second to none throughout the whole booking process and to hosting the evening itself. Thanks team.. until next time!!

Lovely country pub, stopped for a drink after a lovely walk. The staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere to enjoy the lovely weather and enjoy a relaxing drink. We will be back for a meal for sure.

Such a lovely friendly pub. Great beer on tap especially Butcombe. Dogs made more than welcome with special treats. Food yummy although a bit pricier than before lock down which is understandable...just glad they could reopen. 😀

Food was lovely and staff really friendly. We only popped in for a pint and some food and ended up on a pub quiz that was a good laugh, and we weren't the worst at. Will come again next time the boat is this way

Three of us turned up around 4pm for a quick post-dog walk snifter, and were told we couldn't be sat because the entire venue was booked out. Fair enough. Except only two tables (of, perhaps, twenty+ tables) were occupied at that stage, and we could very easily have had our drinks in plenty of time before their bookings started to arrive. Not the fairest review; I'll amend if ever given the chance to sample their food and /or drink.

Spacious pub, very happily accepted a large group of us (15) and catered excellently for us. Food was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive. Looking forward to my next visit.

Exceptionally good. Well presented traditional English pub, located opposite a nature reserve so if you fancy a well deserved pint after a walk around the lake...then get yourself here.Service & vibe were equally excellent, food was good value for money & welcomed dogs without the faff. Keep up the good work guys 👍🏻👍🏻

What a lovely amazing meal ...yummy yum yum ...staff amazing well recommend coming here ... My mate even commented on how lovely bar staff looked .... I'll leave that to your imagination ...all in all bloody good food and warm welcome 👍👍

Dog friendly pub (Butcombe) enjoyed our Sunday lunch, nice staff, would go again.

Unbelievable roast dinner and sticky toffee sundae. All the staff where attentive and pleasant and we sat in the garden which was lovely as well. Couldn't fault anything
