Excellent food and great host, I would definitely recommend it!

The very very best of Indian food in Newbury. We’ve been going for 4 maybe 5 years.. Tried not to.. and checked out other places.. but we keep coming back.. almost weekly now. Try the Jaipur chefs special or their Chicken Tikka Masala fab fab fab.

Hi, Popped into the Jaipur last night at about 7ish (Saturday), hardly anyone there (sign of the times) but lovely atmosphere, and big smiling welcome from owner.Have been there quite a few times over the past 4 years, always amazed at the food, the Chef is just outstanding as well as consistent.Had shish kebab starter to die for and partner ordered onion bhajis. Onion bhajis I find is always a good test of the kitchen and they were brilliant. I finished my shish and just wanted another one : )We then had butter chicken, chicken tikka, sag bhaji, tarka daal, pilao rice and a peshwari naan.Every one of those dishes was stunningly good, way above the standard of anywhere else around here (Gurka Chef is good but too loud and busy for me and a slightly different style of cooking).I don't drink but my partner always says the house red or white is excellent (£3.99) which again reflects the philosophy and quality of the place.I love the atmosphere, small and cozy, the prices are very ok and so is the service. When we left there were about 12 other people spread over 4 tables, the food deliveries were flying out the door and and the night was still young. Can't praise it enough, especially the food, please give it a try and then tell all your friends, I need it to survive, it's just so good, too many good places have gone recently.

Love this Indian! The food was delicious, fast service, price was average, would revisit again!

I visited on a Sunday night, so it was very quiet. There were no issues and nothing to complain about.Service was very good.Food was good in taste, presentation and portion size.Only questionable part of the visit was being asked on arrival if i wanted poppadoms - i thought they might've been complimentary, but were added to the bill at the end. Perhaps i should've asked? Still, would visit again.

Fantastic meal, food was piping hot, tasted delicious, lots of meat, free poppadums and was early, and potion size so generous I can get another meal out of it. I'm fairly new to Newbury and was using a different substandard Indian takeaway and decided to change when I saw Jaiper did my favourite dish, and they even made it milder for me upon request. Very friendly and polite, will definitely be using Jaiper whenever I fancy an Indian takeaway

So impressed with the food. Bhindi bhaji, tarka dhal, tandoori grill, chicken shashlik, keema naan. Ate so much, lovely flavours, great prices. We will visit again.

Hands down the nicest Indian restaurant in town, every dish tasted amazing and had lots of meat in compared to anywhere else in Newbury. Highly recommend!
