Food and service was excellent! Amazing staffing and lovely restaurant overall! Would highly recommend

This used to be a good restaurant with a great takeaway counter around the back. The takeaway is now closed and now they use the downstairs part of the 'old' restaurant to act as a cash only service. Food has gone downhill and cash only when everything seems to have gone contactless seems like a scam operation. I'd rather go hungry.

The most delicious food I have ever tasted. I go here all the time! I love the staff and especially the delicious noodles. I love this place so much. :)

Very disappointing. My usual Chinese in Thatcham may have been closed for Xmas as I couldn't get a reply. I didn't think this place compared at all. Also had to wait way beyond my collection time. Won't buy again from here.

We rang before collecting our order and the lady could hardly understand us, we were worried she would get our order wrong. The food was reasonably good but not outstanding. Would definitely look for another chinese take away before thinking about re-visiting this one.

A very disappointing experience. The front of house looks like Steptoe’s parlour with all kinds of boxes and utensils and a bicycle stored in a random manner.I knew what I wanted and had all the menu numbers prepared. The order taker kept getting it wrong till she admitted she was on the wrong page. OK Onwards and upwards. Eventually got the order sorted for over forty pounds. I tendered my card. She asked if I had cash. I said not that much. I was told that it must be cash, they didn’t take cards which I found to be most unusual but we live in interesting times.I said I had to find an ATM and would be back shortly. I returned and there was a young man at the counter being served. He proffered his card. “You have cash?” - “No, card only, sorry”. She dithered a little, looked down at her desk and hey presto produced a card reader for him to pay by contact.I then asked her why she lied to me, made me go search for a cash machine when she knew full well cards were accepted. I made it quite clear I did not like being lied to.Any the food was disappointing to say the least. They had screwed up on the order. They gave me duck in pineapple instead of duck in plum sauce. Thai red chicken curry was certainly not red and no chicken in it. It looked as though it had already been eaten. Straight to recycling! Rest of the food was of poor quality, Mostly stodgy and poorly cooked and inedible . Microwaved to pulp. Would give this establishment 1 out of 10 only because they got the boiled rice right. In my view not to be recommended.

Been here 3 times since we moved to the area just over 2 months ago. The place seems to be run by a small boy about 10 years old. Our order has been wrong twice out of the three times we’ve been. Always very disorganised, never feel particularly welcome, and a long wait (we are told 30 minutes but that’s always more like an hour). The food is good, but nothing exceptional. If it were better run and more organised we would go back, but getting the order wrong 2 out of 3 times means we won’t be returning now.
