Miah's of Pangbourne in West Berkshire

This place is 90% miss / 10% a great curry. We’ve ordered and dined in a few times over the past 5 years, but both eating in and delivery we’ve had bad experiences - delivery takes 3 hours plus, eating in takes 4 hours to get through a meal because they are so slow and clearly overwhelmed. Don’t believe the “good food takes time” messaging on their website, you’re wasting your evening waiting dining with these guys.

The food is not great in my opinion. The isn't bad but not that great if that makes sense. If you don't ever go here your not missin much.

Was told 45 minutes to delivery. Every time I called it was on its way. It never arrived. Appalling service. 3 hours later we were left a hungry family

We really don’t know how this place isn’t fully booked every night. The food, service, and atmosphere are incredible.We would, in particular, recommend the Murgh Isabegol Tikka starter/side. Absolutely delicious!

Disgusting service made an order at 6.15 pm and was told it would be delivered no later than an hour , at 8.00pm the management came up with excuse after excuse and then completely cancelled my order as he suggested I was not understanding. Errrr hello . Was rude dismissive and blatantly arrogant , never at once apologised for being extremely late , just over talked my voice and cut me off

Placed an order for Saturday night delivery, received order number confirmation.Paid for the items ordered, but they never turned up.When I rang up to ask where my delivery was they said that they couldn't find it.Wouldn't ever use them again, unreliable, no customer service.

Poor, really disappointing. More potato than meat, generally pretty bland and tasteless. Picture is of chicken madras but lamb keema was stuffed with spuds as well and very little meat. Won’t be going back

Second time we've ordered a delivery take away and each time it's been the same. Last time we ordered it for 8pm and it arrived about 7.23pm and this time we ordered for 7.30pm and it arrived 7.05pm. Clearly the time request makes no difference.As before, the food was only slightly warm, and the naan bread was almost cold. Poppadums were stale so we didn't eat them.The restaurant clearly waits until it's got enough orders to deliver in one go, regardless of how long ago the meals were cooked and how long they've been sitting going cold while waiting to be delivered.The food's nice enough to eat inside the restaurant but the delivery service and the quality of the food being delivered is poor. Won't order a take away again.

Very quiet. I was only customer when I entered. Very good weekday evening meal. Choices for starters and main meal. Eat all you want - with minor rule: finish one dish before ordering next. £15. Excellent value.
