Papa John's in West Berkshire

Wow so impressed with Marija! Wishing her all the best and move up quickly as she knows what she is doing....Papa John may provide ingredients but it takes someone special to make it all work and she nailed the stuffed crust, toppings and presentation. There was also a lovely old gentleman working alongside her. Management-- take note of your great employees!

Despite the shop only 7 minutes away by car the delivery takes half hour. I used a customer service promotion code after the last time. Yet they still turn up late and the food has congealed. You would think they would do better and using a cs-cs number. 1 pizza, 1 delivery, that should be a rule. Muilti deliveries do not work!

Second time i ordered from here my food was thrown at my by the delivery diver and papa johns didnt care when there is this phsycopath has my address because they hired unstable staff. Horrendous customer service, honestly go to any other pizza shop. First time i ordered there they told me my food was out for delivery, then i get a call saying my food will arrive in an hour so i requested a refund that nearly took a month cause they didnt put the refund through on the till.

Just got a collection from Newbury papa and it’s really good! People were a laugh priced much better than other well known. Load cheese and hot and tasty Thanks !

Well, not sure what to say really, don't expect your order to be ready for starters. Then there is the shop front, it's located on a run down commercial estate and papa John's is one of the worst looking. Then there is the endless in and out of delivery people, some sort of minimum standard in hygiene and dress code might be worth thinking about, all that said though the pizzas taste great, if you are not put off by the company image they are portraying.

Nice pizzas with a decent amount of toppings. Gluten free option that is one of the best I have tried (don't get your hopes too high, still a long way to go to taste anything like the real deal) in quite a few of the menu options. Also vegan options. You can order online but I had problems with my card provider (next time I will just use PayPal) and went there to order. Attendant very nice and polite took the effort to check that the order hadn't actually gone through and then allowed me to order right there. Pizzas were ready in less than 15 minutes. Compared to the mediocre Domino's pizzas that we got last week from the place in Thatcham, these ones were miles apart.

Food is good, just don't order custom pizza'sI very rarely order takeaway pizza because I live so far from Newbury. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza with extra vegetables. Went to go pick it up and when I came back to go eat it, it had no BBQ Sauce or Chicken on. I rang up to get a replacement, they were happy to replace it but I have to drive back 25 mins each way to collect a new one. That's too far!! But now I have a 'verbal promise' when I come back I can get a new one. I'm not sure how that works...FYI there special garlic sauce is just really weird looking butter

We are moving house today and needed pizza supplies to feed our hungry army! I placed my order online, which was simple :)The online offer was a bargain!! NoI needed to amend/discuss my order so I phoned the store immediately and the staff member was so friendly and helpful and efficient! The delivery was fast and the chicken bbq pizza was very fresh & yummy. The stuffed crust was delicious - definitely worth the upgrade!!! The side portion of peri chicken bites were tender and we enjoyed the extra sauces, especially the buffalo! Very good all round experience :) yum! Highly recommend. Thanks to the friendly gentleman on the phone for the cheese :)

4 stars for quality, 2 stars for accuracy.Papa John's is our go to pizza place as the pizzas are nice and the deals usually work out quite cheap, but they do get the order wrong about half of the time, and with easy things like putting BBQ sauce on instead of tomato. I've also ordered for vegan/dairy intolerant friends before becuase of the good selection of vegan options and more often than not it comes with dairy cheese, not vegan. Sometimes they replace it but sometimes they say it is vegan and refuse to replace it, when it definitely isn't. Overall, make sure to check your collection before leaving and before accepting a delivery, and best avoid if you are vegan/dairy free.

A great take away Pizza point in Newbury. We had classic BBQ and Hawaiian pizza (half half) in a stuffed crust. Pizza was delicious.. Wish the pizza had more ingredients in it. It is reasonably sized and worth it. I would recommend this place. Thanks.
