Food quality is a not good. Staff is lazy and not welcoming. Not really Indian food. After asking, they answered, it's for English people. So weird.

Absolutely Loved this place. Very Friendly & The Food Was Amazing. The Hosts made Us feel really Welcome & even gave us a Beautiful Cobra Glass to take Away. Will definitely re-visit when we come to Newbury again.👌😁

Can't say how much we've just enjoyed tonight's meal. Simply one of the best curries we've ever had Chicken Pathia and Tikka Bhuna were simply the best. Great friendly staff too who were welcoming and worked hard to make this visit 5 stars.

“Wish we’d gone somewhere else”Took family here as just back from holiday and didn’t want to cook. Been before and really liked it. This time, on a Tuesday, it was a disappointment. Firstly no welcome at all. Waiter did not know what the special was, he just read out the menu description when I asked. Our youngest only eats a starter whilst we have mains; they should arrive together but ours followed 10 mins later. My special was tasty but barely warm. The paneer and veg was so long on the skillet it had burnt and a lot was inedible. Regret going and spending money and family time here, was looking forward to a nice meal out, so much was wrong not sure I’ll risk it again, there a lot of other options in town

The food is very good and the service is excellent. The standards are consistently high and reliable. They are happy to tailor the dishes to your preference.

Ok, took a punt after the up and down reviews, the service was excellent, polite and friendly, we had the Wednesday deal, I had the pepper special, prawn purree and a matter panneer, very good flavours, good textures and spice, I highly recommend giving Red Peppers a ......punt

TOTAL DISASTER !!Food is NOT good and management is really poor. Bland food or stupidly spicy food. The chefs cannot cook at all. Also we heard people were waiting outside after they were told they can have a table only to be told after 1 hour that they can’t. They should count them levels lucky they had a lucky escape. Huge lack of social distancing inside and outside and also will report to Trading standards for poor quality food + hygiene

We expected authentic Indian taste after reading google reviews since we hail from India. Staff was not too happy, when we ordered *50 pound worth of food for dine-in. The way order was taken was not welcoming. Personally for us we felt it’s not authentic Indian taste. May be good for others, no arguments on that. My personal advice; if you’re looking for authentic Indian food with nice ambience. This is not the place.

This lovely restaurant is another example of great tasty food whilst sticking to basics. The place has a more authentically Indian feel to it than many of the trendy restaurants we find in the U.K.The food was delicious, great prices (although small portions) and service with a smile, which always makes a big difference for me. It was also no trouble asking for slight changes to the dish as listed. Will be back again when back in town.
