Saddleback Farm Shop in West Berkshire

One of the best cafes around and has it's own farm shop. Lovely setting and great cakes.

Went for a walk with my mate Carl along the ridgeway and tunned back up Old Street to the monument above Farnborough. He then took us to the Saddleback café. Really enjoyed the coffee and cake, the views were great!

Great, out of the way farm shop and cafe. Had a lovely breakfast and sat outside to admire the view (partly as it was quite busy and the inside tables were all taken).The shop itself has everything you could possibly want for a little custom hamper and could be dangerous to your bank balance if you started buying a few bits and bobs

We had a lovely family breakfast. Was very busy so a bit of a wait but we sat outside and enjoyed the weather

What a beautiful spot to sit in the autumn sun eating a ice cream while the little ones play happily. Then, pickup some excellent food supplies to make a fab tea to complete a lovely afternoon.

Filthy! I've been twice in the last 10 days to this cafe on cycle rides, today we were the first people to arrive at 9am. At 9am you expect everything to be shipshape, ready for the day. Instead we were greeted with dirty tables, covered in sugar, crumbs and dead wasps. Surely these should be cleaned after each person? plants in the pots are all dead, dirty discarded masks were on the floor, old glasses abandoned in plant pots, toilet areas don't look clean, cutlery in baskets all look dirty, the children's sandpit was gross looking - surely this should be raked, toys cleaned & put tidily for each new day?Honesty chain have recently taken over and I really hoped they would raise this cafes game, given it's great location. But it's still as filthy as ever. The food is nice, but that must be all shipped in from Honesty as you get the same selection from all Honesty cafes.

Lovely far shop with selection of locally sourced produce for sale.Good brunch and lunch menu.Sitting outside with great view of the surrounding farms and a fun play area for young children.

Great cakes and hot chocolate. My wife and I visited with our daughter a bit late in the day, so only cakes on offer. However they were really tasty. Vegan Red Velvet cake was really moist and not sure you would know that it was Vegan. My flapjack wasn't a solid dense lump and broke apart nicely with the fork.The Farm Shop is an added bonus and definitely worth spending some money in!

Staff were brilliant. Butcher cut the steaks perfectly. Loads of choices from deli, jams, fruits, gins and local beers. The cakes at the cafe looked great too.

Very idyllic spot to sit on a sunny day - with your dog (outside only) and watch the kids play in the large sandpit. Coffees are good, cakes are tasty and the cooked food is good (although expensive). It is a real shame that dogs aren't allowed inside or we would come here often in the colder months.
