Great service and kids were happy with their food. I thought my better half does a tastier pork roast (roast pictured).

Had a lovely lunch here a few weeks ago after a dog walk. Staff very accommodating as we turned up with 4 dogs but they found us a good spacious table & were very attentive. I was especially pleased that they brought us more hot water for our pots of tea when we asked. Many places won't do this.

Went for early dinner on a Tuesday evening, we received a lovely welcome and really friendly service from Karen. We had a drink in the bar first and made use of the stack of board games and cards! Our food was delicious and was served in good time - definitely recommend the charcuterie board for starter and the parsnip crisps on the sausage and mash were amazing!!

Mid week lunch. A reasonable amount of diners in on a wet Tuesday in February. Good selection of pub favourites with a (intriguing) twist on the menu and our choices both tasty an swift to arrive. Friendly helpful staff and clean toilets.... A full package. 🙂

I cannot recommend this place too highly. We have just had a lovely Sunday lunch, absolutely one of the best we’ve had. The interior is traditional, stylish and relaxed, there are big tables, there is even a stack of board games available, and the food was very good indeed, both the lavish Sunday roast and some absolute brilliant desserts. I strongly recommend the blood orange sorbet and the crème brûlée.

Wonderful place! Beautiful building, great food & fabulous staff.!... the first experience was me turning up with my dog, too late for food service, but lovely, welcoming Scottish lady sorted out a huge bowl of home-made soup & granary bread anyway!.. as well as a bowl of water for pooch. So I came back with friends the following day at lunchtime to have the full choice of menu & wasn't disappointed! This place is on my favourites list. 💜🐾

What an amazing find, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The restaurant is comfortable and welcoming. Sunday roast was amazing, large tasty portions with plenty meat, veg and Yorkshire puddings. Could not manage a pudding as I was full to the brim with my dinner but I will come back and try again for a pudding.Thank you everything was prefect

Lovely location and massive carpark. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Dog Friendly too with a really pretty outside seating area. Would highly recommend

Great pub, good setting, quick service. Especially liked the sharing platter starters. Had lunch here a few days ago, quality still very good and quick service. The beer garden looks good and we love the stream running though. A very relaxing atmosphere.
