Thai Golden Horse in West Berkshire

Fantastic meal, very friendly service and decor. Having travelled around Thailand some years ago, this certainly brought some great memories back. Best Thai food I've eaten for a very long time.

We came and had lunch there. The food was good and the service was great. We couldn't have asked for anything better :)

Went for a meal tonight with family and friends, the restaurant decor is really cool and atmosphere is lovely, warm and friendly. Servers were really friendly and definitely helped make the evening a good one. The most important part - the food was amazing. So tasty, got the mixed sharer starter and everything was cooked so well and full of flavour. Chicken wings were juicy but with really crispy skins. Then the main, got a Pad Thai and it was amazing. I knew I was full but couldn't stop eating. Portion size for the main was great, and compared with most places I'd say the starters were a good size too. Price wise, all well priced for the amount and quality.Put it this way, it's been over an hour since we left and we're still talking about how good the food was.

Second takeaway from here. Very pleased to report that we have enjoyed both. Whilst there's the Thai heat you would expect, it's at the right level for us, not overpowering and just accentuates the lovely flavours of the food.

Had an absolutely brilliant meal. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. Would. Highly recommend.

Best Thai in area - their set lunch menu is fantastic value and the penang curry is probably best I've ever had. Food is always, fresh tasty and spicy but you can ask for milder and they will do it Service is brilliant I cannot give this 6 stars+ or I would .

Absolutely delicious panang curry and excellent service from the ladies at the golden horse. Very reasonably priced and interesting furniture that will blow your mind. Such a nice restaurant. Exactly what the town needs to keep hold of.

Currently there's a 25% off discount from Sunday to Thursday. Food is amazing. The environment is calming. It's good to have a meal here if you like Thai food and calming environment.

One of the better Thai restaurants I’ve visited. Big portions at reasonable prices, and the interior decor is amazing, featuring ornate wooden carvings in every table and chair. The staff were seemed a little disinterested, and that’s possibly the only significant thing holding back from 5 stars.
