Fantastic country reasturant, beautiful setting and amazing food. Staff are very helpful and always try to please even through the difficult times we are facing at the moment. The Bladebone currently has a 3 for £20deal ,Wednesday and Thursday 12 - 3 / 5.30 - 9.30 with no compromise on quality 👌 defo recommend A* beautiful covered patio areas and lower garden over looking fields.

Great atmosphere, really good menu. Delicious food. The staff very friendly but a long wait for the food. Would certainly recommend if you are not in any hurry! Will go back for sure.

We had an awful experienced! We booked a table but the table that they've reserved for us was at their conservatory and it was absolutely freezing cold therefore we didn't enjoy our food & ate our food quickly - we tried to order our dessert but unfortunately it took so long before the gave us the dessert menu so we've decided to leave right away. We went to pay our bill at their till to avoid waiting. I will not recommend this Inn at all! Very poor service 😔😔😒

Been here twice as a couple, theb first time we were seated in the conservatory at the back and it was nice and bright, but our table was just outside of the kitchen, the table was actually leaning against the wall as it was so rickety (we discovered this when we tried to make a little more space) . The problem here was the kitchen door - since people were constantly opening and closing it and we were being wafted constantly by the door opening and closing as people were delivering food and returning to baseWe asked to be relocated and were moved the main no building. Fantastic meal ensued.Skip forwards to our next visit. We were given the same rickety table outside the kitchen. We asked to move elsewhere in the conservatory and were given a lovely table at the other end. Here we discovered that this table was a bit of a backwater and we had try to attract attention rather than staff actually coming to us - this became quite frustrating - trying to wave. It's never pleasant to call out "excuse me" loudly in a busy restaurantAgain great food all round - but a few snags which frustrate the keen diner

We visited on a Sunday around 5pm. The pub is lovely inside with a strong country theme and a cosy atmosphere to match. The Sundays menu was on which meant Roasts! The food was good on the most part however the deserts felt a little expensive at £8 for what you got, especially the crème brûlée.Overall I would give the food 4 stars. What really let the pub down was the staff that say. All of them seemed fed up and like they didn’t want to be there. Drinks were slammed down on the table and cutlery almost thrown across the table with no effort made to come round to your side and place them down as would be expected. Service gets 2 stars at best.Unfortunately on this day the pub did not live up to its name of a gastro pub. Perhaps an off day for them, would like to try the full emu one evening t give it another chance.

Beautiful lunch. Lovely wine and beer. Service very good. Beautiful interior. All our party (6) enjoyed hugely. Will be back very soon.

All I can say is incredible food, great service! A must if you are passing 👍

The photos of this venue do not do it justice. The bloody Mary's are piquant and perfect. My husband's beef was tender and moist, and my pork belly was a delight. The sticky toffee pudding was lighter than expected, but didn't disappoint with the luxurious and indulgent feeling that a sticky toffee pudding should have. The staff are attentive but not obtrusive, and super friendly. Next time I'm in the area I will go there again

5 stars for the food, but 2 knocked off for the service unfortunately ⭐⭐⭐Positives: Lovely pub, great food. Very much enjoyed the Sunday roast. A little pricey but worth itNegatives: Having to wait atleast 35 minutes after being given dessert menus, to actually order our desserts. We had to ask twice, and waitresses were walking past us, giving eye contact but ignoring us. Then as we were finishing desserts, being rushed because they needed the table back. A little cheeky to keep us waiting over half an hour, only to then rush us for our table back, and then to be stung £5 service charge on top of the bill.

Lovely dinner 6 of us ate for my birthday and all had the 3 courses for £20 excellent choices and good portions. Very good service too. First time I've been there, definitely go back.
