The Blue Dolphin in West Berkshire

Normally excellent fish and chips. But last night Friday 8th April chips were poor - sorry!

After popping in on my lunch break today, the lady behind the counter was lovely and polite! Food taste amazing! Will deff be back again ❤ thank you x

We ordered from the Blue Dolphin for the first time, and were impressed with the high standard of the food. It was well wrapped and remained very hot when delivered by One Delivery from Newbury to Hungerford.

Great chips! Served us well during lockdown - thanks! We are Veggie so can't comment on the fish.

Brilliant service, lovely food. I wanted chips ready for opening time and they delivered, all ready and no hassle and everyone loved them.

From the beginning the staff are really nice , the place is organised, and the food is very tasty. We brought 2 portion of fish and chips, the portions are big, we couldn't eat all. So everything is just perfect.

The best fish and chips in Newbury. Great service and always with a smile and you can also pre-book on the web and collect at your chosen time. Perfect!

Lovely food however I will not be returning, after ordering online and a 30 minute round trip once again got home to find items missing from my order this is the 4th time in roughly my last 8 to10 visits. Previously I have not bothered going back on 2 occasions however when you order fish and chips and you dont get any fish I had to drive back. When I explained the staff acted like I was making it up but gave me the 2 items I was missing and said I have put fresh chips in there as well for you, which I would have expected as the chips I origanal got where now nearly an hour old. During this time not once did anyone offer an apology for messing up my order and causing me to drive back and forth for an hour.

So 2020 normal isn't the normal but love the fact that I can order on-line and pick my fish and chips already on time! Fabulous fish and chips every time. Look forward to and enjoy my weekly treat everytime
