A real gem, we visited Cookham on Sunday a little late but they made time to feed us and the service was great. The food was delicious and competitively priced. Inside the pub is bright and comfortable. I don't drink Ale but my friends enjoyed the beer and as Im on a diet it was great to find somewhere with slimline tonic. Right round the corner is a beautiful church and short lane to the river. Our friends we visiting from New York and The Crown and Cookham made their day, thank you.

We went for a drink on the 20th of May in the afternoon. Staff were nice, but a bit run off her feet as she was on her own. we left after a couple of drinks and then decided to go back in the evening for some food. the food was ok. as for people complanining about sticky tables and other things, what do they expect, it is a country pub with dogs and other characters. i would not hesitate to go back there.

Late afternoon meal celecbrating our 43rd Wedding anniversary whilst we travelled along the Thames. Always welcoming it is a regular spot when cruising the Thames

Lovely food friendly and welcoming staff, one of the less expensive options in cookham but good value for money.

I was with my brother (Olivier). To be honest, in his review he was still too positive. The food was terrible, even the staff of the pub were obviously embarrassed to serve the food. When they served the food they did not come to our table anymore. Probably afraid of the negative feedback. The picture shows the delicious dish called the Sunday roast. (It was disgraceful). If you go to the pub I wish you the very best of luck and may you recover from the experience. For your own good, avoid this place.

Just visited this disgracefull pub with my family, we fully agree with all the negative reviews above. The tables are sticky and the staff is not helpful. We tried 4 different dishes and they were are disgusting. Even our dog didn't want to lie down on the ground because it was too bad. Pls don't consider going to this pub, it will be a huge mistake. If you ignore all the negative reviews, I wish you the best of luck and may you rest in peace. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Went yesterday for lunch. 2 orders of haddock fish finger sandwiches. No fish fingers and it was a piece of pollock. Disgusting won't go again. Ladies toilets were all dirty and the place looked tired. Go to the Ferry.

Good costumer service but the food was not as described. The “king prawn linguine” that was meant to have king prawns, was bland shrimps with boiled plain linguine. What a terrible and awful food experience. If you value your money and enjoy to eat proper food pub, please avoid this place! I’ve paid £14 for “this”. “This” dish was easily worst than a frozen dish from Iceland. Well, apart from the linguine, the rest was definitely frozen.
