The staffs were so welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Amazing views and nice cosy atmosphere.I will go again. I strongly recommend people to have good experience to dine in this this lovely place.🙏🙏

I have never been to this pub before. Tucked away on the A33 to Basingstoke. The car park was a little steep to get into easily. But once negotiated. We were in and greeted with very courteous staff. The menu had something for everyone. Although it calls itself a Gastro pub. The food I felt was restaurant standard. Good portions but well presented.Also very reasonably priced.The staff were extremely helpful and gave us plenty of time between servings. But making sure we were ok and happy with the food.Even allowing us to warm up in front of a roaring log fire when we had finished our meal.A place I would thoroughly recommend.

One of my favourite places to eat and drink. It is not huge, nor in a central position, but once there you kind of forget the rest. I especially like the big/main room with the massive windows, especially during a winter sunny day, with the fireplace going it feels painful to leave. Food is good, personnel friendly and high quality. Very suggested and to visit again.

Wonderful pub. Lovely food. Great setting.....all good, but mostly, this pub has fantastic staff and a friendly landlord. They couldn't do enough for us and we will visit many times more. Thanks everyone 😊.

We were working locally and were recommended to The Elm Tree for 8 people for dinner. I cannot sing their praises loud enough! The food, service and value for money were all exceptional. Such a lovely bunch of people, and the food really was first class. 5 STARS

I was in the area for work and stopped by for an early dinner around 17:30.The special of the day was duck breast, with a raspberry jus, tender stem broccoli, bacon peas, and gratin potatoes.The meal was presented really nicely. The combinations were great but everything just needed a little more seasoning (otherwise would have been 5stars). The duck was cooked really nicely as was everything else. The experience was great, the service staff were lovely and attentive.The gastropub is in such a scenic area, and the patio is unbeatable. I wish I lived closer as I’d frequent this spot!P.S.: the interior decoration is worth a stop in itself- classic country pub aesthetic.
