Great little cafe. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good selection of traditional food, sandwiches, cake, etc. All very reasonably priced. Great place to spend some time while I waited for my motorcycle to go through its MOT. Definitely recommend.

This is an amazing hidden gem. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My friend were served by Pergonia, a lovely lady who recommended the potato wedges. Fabulous! Would thoroughly recommend this cafe.

Tiny place but excellent service and value for money. Great place for a coffee and a snack.

We arrived about 9.00am and had an amazing full breakfast: 1 veggie & 2 non-veggies.The food, coffee and smoothies were all fabulous. Everything was freshly made to suit our various tastes and very generous portions.The staff were welcoming and helpful and we felt comfortable and safe.

Despite covid restrictions, I still had an enjoyable experience sitting outside with a friend. Great quality and healthy food options including vegan and vegetarian. Plus it has a lovely, welcoming/homely aesthetic.

This place is an absolute gem!So, space inside is limited, but this isn't an issue at all when weather is good- as there is a very pleasant courtyard outdoor seating space.Service is relatively quick and very pleasant. I don't know the management structure of this café, but I got the impression it was a real family/homely affair.And then the food- they serve breakfast all day, which is excellent! I was pleased to see plenty of vegetarian options, and was more than satisfied with the vegetarian breakfast I ordered and consequently devoured upon arrival. Every ingredient looked and tasted freshly prepared.If you're looking for a place to have a nice breakfast or lunch in Newbury, I don't think there's a place I could recommend more than The Flower Pot Café.
