Kind and welcoming staff. Food was okay.Prices are reasonable for location.Would recommend it for a pint on a hot summer day. Nice garden seats available that is perfect for a summer evening.

Had a lovely meal here last night, staff are extremely friendly, food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The back of the pub has a lovely outside area with heaters, although we didn’t get to enjoy it last night we will be heading back very soon with friends. Me and my wife would highly recommend to anyone.

Lovely pub, atmosphere is great. Food was lovely nicely cooked. Only downfall is I seemed to feel like I was being rushed a little. Apart from that nice little country pub.

Nice pub with good food and service even during a very busy Sunday lunch period. Starters were classic pub items, roasts/duck/lamb for main were all very nice, puddings were excellent although slightly let down by less than average coffees to finish.

Met with son for family birthday- made very welcome, good ambiance. Menu varied and our meals were very good - 3 steak pies, pork belly, fish pie and kids meal. Only reservations- fish pie sauce rather bland and meals had cooled between plating and serving. Desserts were very good too. Would recommend.

Called on the off chance of a Sunday roast with out booking. No problem, find a table and we'll take a drinks order. What a good choice, three roasts, plus plenty of other options.You know it's all prepared for you, when it takes a while to arrive.Beautiful rump of lamb served pink just as it should be, sirloin so tender with fine Yorkshire pudding, the Mediterranean vegetable pie came with great chips. All the accompanying vegetables were perfect and full of flavour.The desert menu caused almost more trouble, with everything sounding delicious, in the end berry cheesecake, banoffy pie and sticky toffee pudding, each with a scoop of ice cream finished the meal. Possibly the lightest sticky toffee pudding sponge ever. The secret is the gluten free flour.All the current Covid protections are in place, and don't stop the warm welcome. It may be off the beaten track, but it is worth traveling to enjoy the hospitality and food

Went for a fantastic lunch for my birthday with family and kids. The service was excellent. The food came altogether, was of great quality and very well presented. Couldn't ask for more really!
