The mill at thatcham in West Berkshire

Came here with some family after a local hike. Very quiet, but the staff were friendly and it's dog friendly. We sat in the garden which was nice. Food was good and hot. Contrary to a previous review, the peas were not "hard as bullets". Would come again.

Barstaff are awesome, pints are great (good choices and taste fresh) - not often you can get a Madri on tap, and dog friendly too. Can recommend, will be back more often

Very PoorThought would give Mill House a try under new managementUnfortunately still same old story placed food order starter and mains arrived at same time ???No apologies food poorly presented sent mine back peas like bullets .Complete waste of money only plus was no kids running amok like under previous management.Don’t bother

Amazing pizzas! Lovely staff who always remember our orders and make us feel so welcome. Great improvements now under the new ownership - can't wait to see what else is in the works.

3 stars for the pub but 5 for service. The lady who served us was very attentive and inviting. We went as a group from work and she acknowledged that it was one of the groups birthdays and brought us a pizza over, which was very thoughtful! Thank you

A bit quiet, but the landlady and staff were very friendly. A good selection of pizzas, really well cooked and very tasty. They also do takeaway pizzas so will definitely be giving that a go!

Since covid they have had a bit of a revamp.It has a really nice family atmosphere, has a good vibe with good music. Food is okay and drinks are pretty cheap. Will definitely be coming back.
