"Welcome to The Plume. We are a busy little Pub/ Restaurant based in the picturesque town of Hungerford. We sell a variety of Real Ales and Ciders along with a huge selection of bottled Beers. We have a very large beautiful beer garden & glazed courtyard with plenty of shade and we are also very, very dog friendly."

Celebrated my birthday at the Plume yesterday. Fantastic cosy atmosphere. Great service with friendly staff. The food was excellent, we all enjoyed our choices. We will definitely be back.

·

Went for Sunday roast, good portion and tasty. Just about enough room for dessert which was delicious. The staff are super friendly. Car park is around the back, narrow entrance but plenty of spots available.

·

Room was good, didn't have breakfast thought £10 was too much, main issue was the TV hard to find the channel i wanted

·

Family Baptistism at a village church and then after at the Plume, they made me feel very welcome as visiting Godmother to the area. Lovely venue and just sorry I couldn't stay to eat from the menu as the buffet was wonderful and the meals being served to local visitors looked fabulous. Great Day. Cannot wait to arrange a visit to see my new Goddaughter and a visit to The Plume will be a must

we stopped here for 1 night only while cycling the King Alfred's Way, fantastic service, friendly, very comfortable and clean. Perfect location, I would stay there again and highly reccommend it to cyclist (safe bike storage provided) plus the food and service at the pub is fantastic (Best Burger I had for a while!)

We arrived at 5.15pm to all the doors locked, I called and was told that they weren't closed and to go to the back door to be shown to a room, an arrogant unfriendly man quickly shown us to a shed type building in the car park, short sharp answers when we asked him when the pub and food was available. Room is quite awful, no windows, damp, very dark and dreary, shower is a tickle of water, shower screen is broken, just bloody awful. Food was okay, working away all the time we have had much better for the price. The village is beautiful though, so I would recommend for a nice location for a stop off refreshment if travelling near by

Friendly staff, choice of ales, reasonably priced food, good sized portions. The covered outdoor eating area was idea for a British summer day.

I've been here for table service drinks during restrictions. I've now been here for food outside of Cov2 restrictions. Food is delicious and good price. Service is very attentive. Although it was novel to order first at the bar today, the staff are so attentive they served table service for us throughout the rest of our visit. Lovely staff. Lovely food. Lovely price. And when we were all stuck indoors, a lovely takeaway Sunday roast!! Well done to the Plume. :)

Julian his wife and staff really went above and beyond to accommodate us. Great food, both breakfast and evening meal, plenty of choice too. They were extremely flexible with our stay and our unusual circumstances, due to our daughter being in a local hospital, we were still required to isolate. Many thanks and hopefully see you in six months.

Not vegetarian friendly, only one veggie main option on the whole menu, including on the specials board which had 6 meat options and one fish. Pretty disappointing in this day and age... Lovely little pub though and nice atmosphere, the meat eaters in the group were happy!
