Food and service was, as usual, great! Highly recommend The Spring Inn for dinner. Can't comment on breakfast or lunch here as I've never been at that time of day. Dinner menu is great and all the food is delicious!

My son took me for Mother's Day lunch! Everything is lovely! Booked for outside meal as the weather is not permitting they were kind enough for us to have the meal inside. Worth every penny that my son spent for the meal.

Very pleasant lunchtime eating experience sitting at a table upstairs by the window, looking out onto the outside bathed in Spring sunshine. Very nice light meal of soup of the day and triple cooked chips with a glass of Italian red wine. Very pleasant service, and nice toilets!

The food was nice but nothing phenomenal, my partner's steak was over done after asking for rare as well. Service was good to start with and then trying to get hold of someone for condiments etc was very difficult. Also it was really cold, not sure if they had windows open or something because of covid

Waitress was really friendly and helpful. No bread delivery so had to have a, beefburger bun instead! No braising steak either. Portions small for the price. It was tasty though.

Excellent food, a little bit on the expensive side, so didn't have deserts. Couldn't justify £8-10 on ice cream. Staff were great, good menu, with lots of choice, overall a nice place.

Very slow service but very friendly staff. Food excellent. Table booked at 8. Drinks 20 minutes later and order not taken for 45 minutes. However when the food came out about 1.5 hours after arrival it was great. Good job we we had catching up to do!!

Exceptional service. Harrison looked after us from the moment we walked in, until we left. He was really caring towards my grandma, making sure she had everything she needed. He could not do enough for us.Beautiful pub, lovely Xmas decorations and fabulous grand Christmas tree.Food was very good and menu was very varied. We did not feel crowded and there were sufficient space between each table. My only suggestion would be for staff to wear masks. I think this would encourage people to visit, particularly the older generation who are more vulnerable.Thank you The Spring Inn for a wonderful Christmas memory.

This was the first time we have visited the Spring Inn and so glad we did. What a Gem ! It was my Mums birthday and she hadn't been out in ages so we wanted to treat her . We explained that we had vulnerable guests and the manager kindly seated us in a private room . The room was light and airy and spacious and they didn't mind us putting up a few birthday decorations. The manager and staff were very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble . It was avery good representation of team work. The staff wore masks which was reassuring for everyone as we had all done lateral tests but you never know about anyone else. The food was fantastic. The menu has something for everyone and the desert menu choice one of the best I have seen Generous portions and enough time between each course to be able to appreciate the dishes. Small suggestion would be not such a sweet Jus for the roast . It was a little over powering with the pork , chicken and glazed carrots , sweetness overload . We were not hurried in the room it was ours for as long as we needed it and we stayed longer than planned . Overall an 11 out of 10 for us . We felt that all our needs had been totally catered for with fabulous service and warm environment. I'm 25 plus years chef , cooked for the Royals, Pm etc . I would rather book here than a Michelin restaurant anyway. The balance of food, service and atmosphere was perfect!

Had a really really lovely evening at the Spring Inn. Ample Parking, beautiful venue, it was decorated with Christmas trees and lights, very festive! The fire place was going, it was so warm and cosy!Amazing Salmon Noodles and the Beef Burger was great! Fantastic onions rings, they were huge! So fresh! Great drinks and lovely staff. Very reasonably priced as well. The only thing I would say is that the staff kept asking if we wanted our plates cleared (sometimes within 2 minutes by different staff) but we appreciate they were just trying to be helpful. The deserts were divine especially the sticky Toffee pudding with banana Icecream!
