The Swan in West Berkshire

We use the Swan whenever we are having a nice meal out, the food has always been good and fairly priced, staff are very polite and helpful, great food and service all round. Do recommend it to family and friends all the time.

Tasty, delicious and quick served meal. Huge range of drinks and food for everyone. Friendly staff. Would recommend for night out or meal with friends or family.

Food was good. And we had a young person serving our food who was excellent Happy and chatty. Would go again.

Looking to enjoy a good meal on a Saturday evening with family and friends, we chose this place only to regret it a few minutes later. On arrival, we had apprised that there are 8 adults and 4 kids. We were informed that they usually do not take in more than 8 in a group but since they had availability, they allowed us under the condition to place an order in the next 20 minutes as they take last order at 8. About 10 minutes in, while we were deciding our order, we realised we had miscalculated as there were 9 adults. This didn't settle well with the chef, and we were responded by what can only be stated as one of the rudest behavior by someone in the hostilaity industry. Although the server at the bar was curteous but no apology was offered. We ended up leaving.

We had a great family meal here, everyone enjoyed their meals and food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning 👍

Very helpful, we booked at short notice, service was friendly and food order was delivered quickly, steaks cooked as requested, everyone enjoyed their food. Even had desserts. Would book here again.

We want for a meal here, I was slightly nervous as we went in due to a small but lively crowd drinking near the entrance, however my fears were misplaced as we were shown to a secluded dining area where we were able to enjoy our meal. We chose the Nashville nachos as a starter to share, these were proper nachos rather than dorito type with ample salsa and jalapeno. Next we had rib eye steak, it was cooked as we asked (medium rare) and at less than £12 was a very good price.The app was very good and easy to use, the food and drinks came to the table very quickly.All in all one of the better chain pub restaurants we've been to

Had anniversary meal here whilst staying at a hotel nearby. Received a friendly welcome and shown to our table. We ordered a nachos sharer, these were amazing!! The tortilla chips must be homemade because you'd never get those in a bag from the supermarket! For mains we both chose the 9oz Rib Eye steak, medium rare. Served on a skillet with fried onions underneath and mushrooms and tomato to the side and a generous portion of chips in a bowl. It was the tastiest, most well cooked piece of steak we've had in a long time! This is a Sizzling Pub but don't think that it's just your regular old chain pub. The food was amazing here!
