So pleased to see this pub open, returned to Hungerford after many years to find somewhere to eat returning to Wales from London. A great meal with warm welcome π

Excellent beers, wine, coffee and good quality traditional gastro pub food reasonable priced. Owned by the local community.A really convivial atmosphere and open log fire for those cold winter days.Excellent stop-off (one mile south of J14 of M4) to break up that long journey or a stop over in one of their excellent en-suite rooms.Have visited again and had meals. Glad to say all is as it was again after the covid shutdown.

Fantastic find! Cosy on a grim day... really warm welcome π Lunch for 7 plus 3 dogs in tow. Every meal was excellent, their pudding menu was so varied & delicious. Great food & good value for money, would thoroughly recommend.

This place really rattled me. I had some squid that resembled an inner tube, then a linguine which was tinned Tomatoes with some added water and chilli. Staff are lovely but one of them did recommend the linguine so you have to question their mmotives and possibly sanity

Great stopover for dinner 1 mile off the motorway! Good food, comfortable warm surroundings and great service. So much better than the Mway services.

Good food in a community owned country pub. Best chips I have had in a very long time. Efficient and very friendly and helpful staff. Croque Monsieur was great.

Stopped there with family en route back to London from Somerset and I highly recommend this little gem. The food was delicious (best fish and chips Iβve ever had) and the pub was full of character. Spot on!

We had a wonderful three course meal here. I'm no gastronome but I like good food. A whole locally caught trout for my main, my Wife's was Lasagne and both thoroughly enjoyed it. Poached pear with chocolate sauce and home made ice cream respectively rounded the meal off. Good food, good price, good choice of beers and gins!!! Definately worth a visit.
