Awesome authentic noodle dishes from Hong Kong. After living in HK for so many years, this is the real deal. Owners are seriously friendly and welcoming too.

We ordered bubble teas, a laksa and beef tossed noodles - ended up sharing the food as they were both so delicious. Really beautifully cooked w lovely flavour + very fresh and tasty. Lovely people and generous portions too! Will definitely be back for more

Hidden gem! Great little spot in the centre of Newbury. Family owned and run by a lovely couple. If you’re looking for authentic food and drink you will not be disappointed!

Another wonderful visit to TIY Tea Bar!Our first date was here and we have just been for a late lunch for our first year anniversary! Not only was the food divine but the lovely couple who run it are just so incredibly awesome and we cannot recommend them enough, their cakes are always so tasty as is their food! I had vegetable dumplings and udon noodles while my husband had beef brisket. Superb! We cannot wait to go back again!

Fantastic hidden gem, amazing noodle soups, teas and cakes! Great service as well. An important thing: one review says they don’t take card payments - that’s false! We paid by card.

We’ve just had a lovely experience here. We were made to feel very welcome and had a great chat with the owners after we’d finished our amazing meals. The chef has great skill in her craft and you can tell she has been perfecting her recipes over many years. We had pork dumplings in noodles and the dish had the perfect flavour balance of flavour between the meat and veg. We don’t eat out much but we will make this a regular visit. Highly recommend the ty tea bar :) thank you for a great lunch and chat.

A wonderful small place with great fresh food and amazingly friendly people who run it! If you are in Newbury... this is a place for a nice snack or takeaway!

Nice noodle soups, bubble teas and homemade cakes. **EDIT** after a few years of going to this lovely tea shop, the quality of food and drink is still as high as when I first tried it. The staff are friendly and helpful.
