Toby Carvery in West Berkshire

We stopped for breakfast here. The restaurant was clean and the staff were accommodating when we asked for a particular table. And the food was decent.

Delicious food! The sliced potatoes were slightly undercooked. Great atmosphere and customer service. Waitresses always happy to help.

Staff were fantastic! Had a slight mistake on the online booking at they worked hard to rectify it on possibly the busiest day of there year (it was mothers day)Food was great as always with a toby, theres also a unlimited drinks option and desserts are very cheap too!Highly recommend

Food not hot just warm, week day day time not so good, weekends much better. Drinks order taken but received wrong but was nearly corrected. Helpful staff

I had takeaway dinner. I'll just say point by point every thing I had and evaluate it.1. Carvery for one: it was decent size portion for one person, I've gotten full after eating it whole. I ordered beef and turkey with stuffing and gravy. Meat overall was delightful, but on some parts beef was.little chewy still I enjoyed it after all. Stuffing did not arrive. The gravy, love it but it's way too much for me! And I hate waste food!!!! Can't go wrong with veggies and potatoes. As a veggie person I love carrots, califlower and peas on my meat.2. Roasted potatoes: edible. Cheese was amazing.3. Pigs in blankets: portion for kid, but they were decent.Not good as Swindon Toby's but I would recommend it to my friends!

Great place, VERY accommodating! The food was good, really clean & tidy as well. Harry the waiter was amazing and really added to the experience for us! Will definitely be returning.

Very nice dinner. Fresh meats and a good veg selection. Make sure you put your car reg in the machine when you get there or else you will get a ticket.

Was very busy this evening and the staff were all polite and attentive even when they were clearly rush off their feet. I would have liked a bit more selection on the veg, 2 of the seving dishes were empty and no kitchen staff were there to ask to re-stock.

Had Christmas Dinner there yesterday on Christmas day. For £57 per person we expected better. They tried their best but it wasn't very festive at the table, the only festive decorations were crackers. The roast....well the meat was as normal but the veg was dry and like it had been pre cooked and kept warm. The roast potatoes were burnt and like they'd been warmed up from being cooked earlier. No social distancing. Nobody seemed to care. People in there were drunk and loud and just being out of control. Staff worked hard and clearly rushed off their feet, but we won't go there again for Christmas dinner. We just wanted to eat and get out of there.

Usually really good and we visit often. But Christmas Dinner was awful 😖 at £57 per person it was not worth the money. Potatoes like warmed up pre cooked, hard over cooked outer and off colour inside and chewy. The veg was dry, brussell sprouts undercooked. The meat was fatty. The starter wasn't too bad. The Christmas pudding cheap and nasty. The millionaire bar poor quality. The staff worked very hard and I don't like to complain but it was not nice at all. We won't ever visit again for Christmas day, sorry for the poor review but I'm always honest.
