We went in for lunch and the choice was very good and value for money. I had the all day breakfast and my friend had cheese on toast with poached eggs. Hot water pot to top up the teapot, flavoursome tea made a change, not pale and interesting as in most places. My only comment is the sausage could be local pork one, not an unidentifiable substance which took the score down to four stars.

Friendly traditional cafe with a range of food some of which is home made. Scone and jam recommended.

Really enjoyed eating at this restaurant, plenty of choice, including for vegetarians. Lunch was very tasty.

If i am totaly honest the breakfast was okay but basic. With a nice local butcher just yards away i would have expected a better quality sausage. Rose was lovely and attentive and we want to support local business but for us the place was just a bit dated.

Delicious tea cake!! Very good latte as well. Rose was very friendly & welcoming. Happy to chat about the interesting history of The Tutti Pole going back several hundred years!

Our favourite local cafe. Food is great here. They do a lovely breakfast. Staff are very welcoming and friendly especially the lady there (I think her name is Rose) We have a young child and staff are always very obliging giving us tables with plenty of space for our little ones pram. Lovely homely feel to the place and atmosphere is always warm and friendly :)

Great little place run by people who care. We dropped in for a drink and ended up ordering a light lunch. The muffin special was lovely and the ham egg and chips was really good with generous portions. Pot of tea came with hot water to top up like it used to me when I was a kid. I would recommend this place and we will be back- a little gem.

What amazing cakes! When we entered and saw the outdated decor, we thought that a quick coffee would be all we go for. Having visited the bathroom and seen the cake stand it was decided to go for them. The blueberry cheesecake and the jam and cream scones are amazing. If you go for a tea at F&M you are a fool. Go to the tutti pole tea room instead!Oh, they make their own jam too!

“What a delight - it reminds me of my grans baking”This is a fantastic example of an old fashioned restaurant with lots of charm and cakes that have still been home backed and remind you of the good old times when Gran invited you to tea.Whilst I was waiting for my car to be finished I was looking for a nice place to spend roughly about an hour. Walking over the bridge I spotted this lovely cafe which had me intrigued. Upon entering the shop I was immediately greater by the gorgeous smell of freshly baked scones which immediately sealed the deal. When asked if they baked their products here I was told that they baked all of their stuff fresh and themselves.Being a sucker for traditional english cooking, especially scones and cakes, I sat down and spent the next 40 minutes reminiscing whilst enjoying the most delicious scones I have tasted in a long long time coupled with homemade jam. WHAT A DELIGHT!!!!!They also offer a wide variety of food for lunch or dinner which, if the baking and tea is a standard to go by, will be great too. All I can say is that if you fancy sampling some of the best scones around and, like me, want to be reminded of your grans good old cooking then this is the place to go. Truly a great experience.
