Walkabout Bar in West Berkshire

Popped in for a late lunch with my sister last week and was pleasantly surprised. It's not somewhere I would've thought to visit but decided to give it a go, the food was fantastic as was the service from the lovely Kya, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

All well and good to kick someone out if you think they've had to much, but to not let them collect their belongings is wrong and then next day say they been thrown away. You owe us a jacket and gloves. Spend my money at your establishment and get rewarded with loss of personal belongings. Not nice.

No RUBGY playing today. England vs barbarians!Broken Internet.Food was not great either. Childrens meal was looking particularly empty as was the adults. Although my burger tasted lovely I had to return it.Shame. Will not be eating in here again or watching any sport apparently.

You owe my son a jacket and gloves. All well and good to throw a paying customer out if they've had too much, but allow them to collect their personal belongings. Now goods are conveniently missing, reimbursement is required for jacket and gloves. How does one attain compensation?

Went recently to watch sport and really enjoyed our time there. Food was nice and came out in good time. Staff were super friendly so we'll be back!

I went to walkabout in newbury to watch football with some friends. I had a great time. The staff were brilliant and always went the extra mile. A like to say a big thank you to Vanessa who was serving us for the majority of the night, she was fantastic!

Came in with some friends for some last minute lunch and we were greeted by the sweetest girl ever! Vanessa was so bubbly and friendly and extremely helpful. She made the whole establishment so welcoming. We will definitely be coming again!

Upbeat place, clean and tidy with very good prices. Staff were friendly, the lady on the bar Kya was the happiest I've ever seen someone at their place of work. She's a walking advertisement of happy job and a delight to chat with!

My experience at walkabout was very pleasant and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Vanessa in particular was very happy and welcoming and was able to help me with my queries about my food order. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be returning in the future.

Fantastic pub, the staff were really welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure our team’s game was on the TV. Thank you for the football banter (Celtic/Rangers) … will pop in again when we go on our next holiday .
