The worst food I have ever ordered. Completely inedible. The only positive is I have not over eaten. The starters are just frozen rubbish which are then deep fried in the morning and left all day to turn to leather, the chicken in the sweet and sour is so tough i literally couldnt chew it! I Also tried the ribs which were 100% bone and grizzle, the chow main sauce looked like sick and didnt taste any better. As much as i love local business I hope these guys shut down and something better replaces it. The owners and cooks should be ashamed.

Spent 45 on a takeaway this evening and it was totally unedible - sweet and sour chicken HK style had dry, chewy chicken. Ribs were mostly grizzle. Starters were overcooked and seemed like they were straight out of the freezer. Rubbish, waste of money. Would not reccomend.

After experiencing poor Chinese Takeaway services from 2 of the 3 Chinese takeaways in Chipping Norton I had low expectations for Chefs Cottage. I am very happy to say that the food was excellent. You can view the chefs cooking and you can see that your food is fresh and not just microwaved. The prawn toast was crispy and the pancake rolls were light and delicious. The whole order was very delicious and I will be using them again. The best news is that they also deliver. I am looking forward to my next order!

Difficult times at the moment so decided to treat ourselves to a Familly take away. After 4 weeks of home cooked food this was a welcome treat. Lovely clean COVID safe takeaway collection with large screens separating the staff for customers. We ordered Lots of starters, 1/2 duck and a couple of main course and it was all cooked perfectly. Thank you guys we will be back.

Good value for money and the flavour is good but far too greasy for my liking, However my mrs liked it. I'm editing my review as since we last ate there we have had 2 more take aways from there and they have been delicious based on my other 2 orders from there I believe this is the best Chinese in chipping norton with the best value for money too I will only be ordering from here now when I'm looking for a Chinese.

The food from here is pretty poor. They use the cheapest ingredients and it is badly cooked. Tastes terrible. Very expensive. They have increased all the menu prices even further by writing it in felt tip on the menus. Also, cash only. Why would any outlet take cash only with Covid risk? Go figure. In short, unprofessional, amateur and very expensive.
