Dragon Pearls Chinese Take Away in West Oxfordshire

Great food, friendly staff and decently priced. Never had a bad experience here in 3 years. (The chips are the best I've ever eaten!)

Although I have given other reviews of this amazing place, I was gobbedsmacked by the bad reviews lately...Clearly, we do not have the same taste buds! Dragons Pearl is ever so delicious and is cooking for people searching for flavours before quantity. If you want truly tasty asian cuisine, then look no further. At least, after eating perfectly sized portions, I have no sense of guilt over calories. Hence why I do not order from the regular chinese take away places around Witney, dishes bathing in oil and absolutely tasteless, as the sauce is the same, whatever you order (with extra chilli to cover the lack of taste). Dragons Pearl is like no others, thank God for that!

Absolutely love this Chinese, the meal for one is great, just the right size. Very tasty, always consistent and hot when delivered. The staff are always friendly. Thank you!

We were staying in a nearby hotel, obviously no restaurant due to Covid. So thought we'd have a takeaway. This was without doubt the worst we've ever had. Christ knows what they did to the food. My wife actually spat her chicken back out and left pretty much everything. She said that she cannot remember a worse meal. My meal didn't actually taste of anything and the globules of sweet and sour sauce clumping their way out of the paper cup were a delight to behold. If the locals think this is good then god knows what their own cooking must be like. My advice Avoid... Its not like its even cheap. I had to give it 1 star in order to review it, but in truth that's one star too many. Maybe they should change the name to Minging Palace to better describe their culinary offerings.

The place is 2mins away from home, we had "pork ribs" they was okay, but for 7.50 only 5 small ribs , that was a joke! "King prawns" in curry sauce , it was completely cold, we had to put it in the microwave, portions are so small and is quite expensive , I recommend to not go there , better go to PEKING CHEF

Quick service but shockingly expensive. Very small portions for the price and not that tasty. Will order from our usual chinese in future and this is not worth the money at all. Very disappointed and seems to have gone downhill in recent years sadly.

Used to be one of the best Chinese's in Witney a fair few years back when the old lady could be seen cooking the food in the kitchen and the son was serving on the counter. Proper traditional food at good prices.Now...I assume something happened to the older side of the family as the guy on the counter took it over and ruined it. Tried to go posh and classy...on Burwell! Really? Now it's overpriced, bland and tasteless food at very high prices!This is a prime example of a Chinese take away trying to go classy and failing miserably.Please go back to what it was before. A traditional Chinese takeaway!And the small menu stuck on the door with sellotape and chalk boards with nothing written in them says it all. Failing business?Bring back the old skool!

Should be 0 stars £6.50 for singapore noodles. This is all the meat given.

I used to order from here maybe once a month, and was always impressed when the guy behind the counter remembered my usual order. After becoming intolerant to garlic I stopped eating here as I thought garlic free Chinese wouldn't be possible. It turns out it is! If what I order can be cooked without garlic then it is.

If I could give it no stars I would. The service comes with attitude and the food is garbage. I ordered a Singapore chow main which should be spicy like I asked it came plain with minimal meat in it. The price is average but for poor quality food it's expensive. I will not be returning at all
