Duke of Marlborough in West Oxfordshire

Fantastic hotel, I had a wonderful night here, nice and perfect dinner & breakfast. The room is clean.

Excellent outdoor garden space table tennis, French bowls, Great Parking excellent selection of beers, wines, gins etc and really nice place. dining in and outside for meals looks like are commendation apartment passing by going to Woodstock

Cannot fault this place. The staff, the food, the accommodation were all absolutely fantastic. Two members of staff that were iparticularly outstanding were the Italian man and the Young lady with the red spotty skirt on! The best customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. Well done all involved.

Rooms are beautifully decorated and the remote location makes it so quiet and peaceful! Breakfast service was sadly very slow, I think only two members of staff were working. Took about an hour to get our food!

We stopped overnight our charity cycle tour from Birmingham to London after hilly 55 miles through Cotswolds. Staff were fantastic, food was excellent, cosy room - brilliant breakfast. Superb & thank you the the staff for looking after us 🙏🚴

Really nice hotel, very quiet surroundings, lovely room and really great food. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. To be honest, I can't think of anything even slightly negative to say. In fact, when they had run out of veggie sausages on our first morning they made sure they had restocked by the next one! Highly recommended.

6 of us booked a meal and we all had gorgeous meals. Food was so diverse which is often a concern when there's a lot to choose from as it usually means you expect a substandard/mediocre meal because of the quantity of prep the kitchen have to deal with, this certainly wasn't the case with our experience. All 6 of us chose differently and not one of us were disappointed. Highly recommend and as for the alcohol free options (and the bar options overall) very very happy!

We've just stayed at the Duke of Marlborough for a few nights and we can only say positive things about our stay. We received a warm welcome and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. The room was lovely with great decor. Also loved the breakfast and the evening meals. We'll be back soon. Thanks again to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Amazing refurb; warm, welcoming atmosphere; fantastic service and great tasting food (particularly impressed by the delicious special's meal)! Kids loved the food and trunk of games too (which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time even more)!Lovely decor and comfortable night's stay, with a great breakfast the next morning.Will definitely be back!

I give this top marks for the excellent standard of accommodation and service. Our party if 6 were welcomed with open arms and we felt like valued customers at every stage if our stay. The hotel is well sited just outside Woodstock which is a lovely little town and only a quick bus journey (bus stop right outside) away if you're doing the rounds as we were. Highly recommended.
