Huffkins in West Oxfordshire

I doubt whether I will visit Huffkins again. I disliked the fact that there is no proper waitress service, only a requirement to pay in advance at the counter, together with a refusal to take cash. This cannot be construed as 'service' in my book. Convenient for them, maybe.The food was OK, but very over-priced: £17.70 for a toasted sandwich and some pancakes, I ask you! And service was slow, it took exactly half an hour for the food to arrive. A bowl of soup was cold, and had probably been standing while they prepared the rest. I sent it back. The place was half empty at the time.The girls who brought the food were charm itself, however, so at least there was that. They were apologetic throughout. I can see why.

We managed to get a table on our last visit without a lobg wait. Food was good quality though not so much choice as previous visits (before Covid) and we miss the Bakery.

Nice staff, food good. Unfortunately a couple of items had sold out when we visited.

We were so looking forward to a delicious cream tea when we rocked up at 2.50pm on a Thursday during half term. Imagine our disappointment on learning that the kitchen was shutting at 3pm so no cream tea for us! This place used to get a 5 star review from us but, alas, no longer

Really nice breakfast (although the bacon wasn't up to the high standard of the other ingredients). Good service too.

Wonderful brunch at Huffkins in Witney today - just the right place for a post-Christmas catch up with family. Thanks to the lovely staff for looking after us!! Delicious food 😊

Good menu a bit pricey, staff pleasurable, low ceiling make it a bit noisy. Clean & bright.

Lovely tea rooms in Witney albeit a little expensive for a sandwich. Still, food was lovely and fresh and full sandwiches and the cakes are yummy. Enjoyed it here and very friendly

Cute start to our day!Indoor and outdoor seating. 30min free Car park right in front.Quaint little bakery teahouse with fresh bread and cakes on display.They offer afternoon tea but we had breakfast which was delicious: warm lardy, chicken pie and pasty.They have a little gift shop too. Cute.Nice start to our cotswolds day!

Lovely tea shop. Outside seating on the street, great in fair or warm weather. Basic lunch dishes but delicious. Great afternoon tea options. Homemade produce for sale ie. Breads, sauces and chutney. Fantastic breakfasts.
